Default Need advise from handbag experts-Urgent

I have two bags on hold at TJ maxx. They are only on hold for the next few hours. They are the same price. I went in wanting a red bag for fall but I only have 2 red pieces in my entire wardrobe. I found this bag in red. It is made by B. Makowsky .

Then I found this bag:

It is 7 for all man kind and it is not a stark white as it shows in the pics, it is more of a rich antique white. More off white. This is the problem. I already have a white leather bag but I am not crazy about the red one....I am crazy about the SFAMK one though.

#1. If you know of B. Makowsky, is this a nice brand?

#2. What do you think has more longivity for someone who has very little in their wardrobe, a red bag or a cream bag?

The SA at TJ Maxx also thinks cream leather is more sophisticated & "posh" than a red bag. Do you agree?

Thank you!!!

Thanks for the advice but I feel obligated to diversify my handbag wardrobe. I question whether I need 2 white/off white bags and no colored bags. My current bags are LV (brown/tan), MJ (Mouse <Taupe>), MJ (Black), Coach (White leather) and Foley & Corrina (Eggplant--but so dark it looks black in artificial light).

Perhaps you should keep looking until you find a red bag that you're crazy about. On the two that you posted, I like the SFAMK. I tend to think that white/cream is more neutral than red, so you should still get plenty of use out of it. But if you're really looking to diversify, then wait for the perfect red bag :)

Get the SFAMK, I like it. Don't get the red bag just because you 'feel obligated' to diversify..................you'll never carry it if you don't love it. I've done this, tried to talk myself into a bag because I need the color/shape etc even though I KNEW it wasn't the perfect one, and it just sat and I sold it at a loss.

So now I am waiting for the perfect grey bag to come into my life :)

Get the Seven bag. If you're crazy about, you'll carry it a lot and get your money's worth.

I personally don't like Makowsky bags. Go get SFAMK and a good leather cleanser since it's white.

Not crazy about the Makowski bag, and it sounds like you're not either, so that's easy. It sounds like you DO like the SFAMK, so I agree with the others that you should keep it. Then start looking for the perfect red!

Although I can't keep white clean, I much prefer the look of the Seven purse. It looks chic....

The SFAMK bag is the clear winner. There is something about that B(ruce) Makowsky bag that doesn't do anything for me. When the right red bag comes along, it will knock your socks off. Until then, only buy what you love.
Here's a fun fact: Did you know that Bruce Makowsky is married to Kathy Van Zeeland? Now you know!

I knew there was something about B. Mokawsky that left a bad taste in my mouth...now I know what it is. That's a shame
