I am so done with online shopping. Because I am based in Canada, the only way to get your great US deals is to shop through online big stores. I received my bags this week (after paying expensive duty fees). Here are some pictures of my Hayden Harnett Grey Lorca, Goldrush Mercer and 1200$ MK bought at NM. They all arrived with scratches and ripped tags

The worst one is the MK bag. I could not capture well the scratches but they are all over the leather. And could someone tell me why its a Michael Kors tag attached to a Neiman Marcus bag? Is there some sort of independant designer boutiques inside NM (never been inside that store)?

That's pretty crappy, I'm really sorry you had to pay all those customs taxes just to be dissapointed.

You bet!!! I will send that bag back. I am sure its a store return, display or damaged bag they tried to sell.

For the HH ones, I saw many TPFers not happy with their online orders as well. Many damaged bags were delivered.

The bag was probably packed by someone who didn't give squat about handbags. So sorry for you. If I can't touch it, feel it, look at it or squeeze it myself, I don't buy it. I feel your pain.

You are very lucky to have access to all those designer stores, outlets and great deals in US... Canada is not that far away and I don't understand why we are so restrained. In Montreal (supposed to be one of the best Canadian shopping places) there is only one place to buy Louboutin, only one place to buy LV and they are never on sale - same for designer bags. Holt Renfrew is the only store that have them and annual sales are not that great.

Thats terrible. I would contact them at once. I am sure you paid by CC, it might be worth contcating them too if you want a refund.

My lorca arrived with those little divots from the zipper pull. However, they smoothed out after a few uses. I hope that helps just a small bit.

my Lorca bag was like that too, i was not very happy. I put some conditioner on the leather, it seem to be much better. I guess these are the types of leather that scratches easily.
i didn't even bother to write them about it, i'm sure i'm not going to hear any good news.
I tried cancelling another order prior to their shipment, but they ignored it, and sent the shipment 2 days after I sent them the notification anyways. So when I received the order, I wrote them asking for the return number, and nobody gotten back to me untill 3 days later. I don't like their customer service.

I completely feel your pain! I read your thread this morning, then the postman came with my grey tharpe! Ohmygosh, I love the bag but I am sooo unhappy with the condition. There are scratchy drag marks all over one bottom side of the bag (long scratches that make big white marks, I tried rubbing them out with my finger, so far no help, I haven't conditioned it yet). The worst though is that the back of the bag is STRIPED! There are long darker lines of grey , at least 7 lines, ranging in size from one at 1 inch and the rest are about half the height of the bag. I'm trying to get the pictures off my camera now and I'll be emailing CS about it too. *cry* Those are just the "major" problems too. The torn little spot of leather at the top front and the little white scratches all over the bag pale in comparison to the stripes.

Wow, that's such a bummer! I've ordered most of my bags online cuz we have nothing but Coach or Dooney in the stores here, and I've never had one arrive in poor condition. Including three different orders from HH. I would contact CS and see if they'll send you a replacement. And if they mark it as a replacement bag when they ship it you shouldn't have to pay any additional customs.

Its exactly what it is. The zipper pulls left some holes.

I think their CS is very bad too. I paid for Express Mail and it took 9 working days to arrive from New York to Montreal. Took 2 days with Neiman Marcus so I think HH charged me Express but shipped Priority.
