Talking My awesome Carlos Falchi story...and my new favorite bag!

A couple months ago my mom went shopping at Loehmann's, and saw this stunning turquoise/blue Carlos Falchi bag. However, it was priced at $920 so she only admired from afar. A few days ago, we went back to Loehmann's and it was still there, and still priced at $920 (and the tag said it retailed for over $2200)! But when I saw it, I thought that that bag could not have possibly retailed for so much. So we left the store and went home and did some research. I found some pictures of the same bag (but in white) on the internet, and we emailed them to email address we found on the Carlos Falchi website, asking how much it retailed for. They replied almost instantly, stating that it retailed for $525. So we then printed out the pictures and the emails and took them back to Loehmann's, and gave them to the manager. He said there was nothing he could do at the moment but hold the bag until he could speak with the store buyer. The next day, we got a call from him saying that the price was indeed mismarked and that they were holding it in the store for us if we still wanted to buy it - for $200!!! It's so comfy and just the perfect size, and I've been using it nonstop since I got it! So without further ado, here is the bag!

(I took pictures with and without flash...the color is somewhere between the two!)

I have this bag, too!!!! Isn't the color beautiful? I bought it in February (well below retail, as well) with my trip to Mexico in mind, but it works perfectly in San Antonio at this time of the year.

Good job. That's a pretty bag. Loehmann's is my favorite store. I personally haven't found many bags there but lots of clothes.
