Im 5'5 and the large is too big for me. I had the large and the medium and the mediun is a good size. The should have made the medium a lttle bit bigger.

I'm a petite 5'2" and think the large "shopping" (long-handle type) is fine. I have that much stuff to carry around, so I don't have much of a choice anyway.

It works well as a briefcase/bookbag/gym bag/carry on but I do not carry it for a purse.

I'm 5'2" and I have both, large and medium. I use my large for work and I don't think it's big at all, but I do have a tons to bring with me. I also use it to put my Speedy 30 in to keep it away from bad weather.

Agree with Pot_luck, wish the medium were a bit bigger.

Lovely! It is the perfect size for you. You are tall enough so it does not look big on you at all.

Large is wonderful. I'm 5' 7" and I've got one in black. It holds a lot - good for school, airports, and wherever. You got the perfect size!

Thanks for taking the time to post the modeling pix. I use my Le Pliage bags all the time.
