Logo: Capital "K" in a circle. What brand is that?

My boyfriend went to church today and saw an expensive purse and had a big gold metallic keytag on it with a capital "K" with a circle enclosing the letter.

I am fascinated enough and I don't think it's a Kate Spade (wrong-looking logo), but I am not sure if it's a Karl Langerfield.

Would any of you know this brand and is it high-end? I checked the Purse Snob and other entries here and I am clueless.

Hah, the first thing I thought of were the "circle K" convenience stores....
It may be that K is her initial and that she added it to her bag.

I'm not pretty sure of the bag that you saw, but i do have a keyfob from Kate Spade..hee..

Thank you for your replies! I am more likely to think it is Michael Kors, but the picture above shows "MK". My boyfriend has a good memory so he would have definitely noticed the "M". I'll send him a reply and see what he thinks.
