I have LV MONTAGNE BOWLING pm in ivory that I definetly plan on using this fall. I've seen white 'white' used as well, but too whitw for me. I prefer winter white, some type of cream.

I never used to (always followed the no white after Labor Day rule

), but I recently got a white Balenciaga that is more of a bone white than a stark bright white so I think I am going to give it a try this winter.

Have to agree with Feifei. Here in the northeast, the roads are covered with sand and salt all winter long. Therefore, the sand and salt are all over our cars, our handbags rub up against the cars and our bags are ruined. Winter is stressful enough without carrying white bags. NEVER!!

I do. I've seen a lot of white bags popping up for fall. I think if you wear it with confidence then you can make it work.

Off white, yes. Bright white, no. My grandmothers would turn over in their graves! LOL

I like the look of winter white bags, especially a thick supple leather. But being from the South, the no white before Easter & after Labor Day rule is too ingrained in my head to allow me carry a stark white bag; however I think both "summer" white & winter white look great on other people!

*I also think that rule is outdated, but when you come from a long line of Southern women...

Do you think a Louis Vuitton Speedy in Damier Azur could be carried in winter?(preferably with a white coat/jacket)

Definately!! I usually wear black and white, but for those of you worried to get white bags dirty:

Spray them about once a week with water protectant. If it is normal leather (+/-), this will provide a thin layer that allows you to remove the dirt with a wet towel! I wasn't aware of this, till I started working with leather, but do it and you'll see how well it goes:)
