White after labor day, oh my, what would ms manners say??
I think it depends on where you live and weather...here in CA, I would say fine...in any place really wintery, probably not. |

I guess I must be old school. I have had trouble wearing a white bag after Labor Day. I must say that I see pics on here of people wearing them and they look so nice. I have been tempted though. LOL

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but I've always wondered....
What is the difference between "white" and "winter white?" Is "winter white" an off-white and "white" more of a snow white? TIA!! |

There are so many differnet kinds of whites: blue whites, whites with a pinkish tinge, grey based whites, cool whites, warmer whites. I think of "winter white" as a creamy natural white color.

I don't know if my description will help at all, but I think of "winter white" as being a "heavier" white. Definitely still white with a hint of cream in it.

I think a white bag can be worn in winter as long as it being used properly, ie, matching white fur trim or gloves. And if you're confident in yourself, you should be able to pull any color off!

I personally loooove white purses and since I live in Florida, I would wear them in winter. I do agree with some ladies that say matching it with an all white or black outfit would just look awesome. I think it depends on how you match it with your clothes.

I'm not sure. I have an off-white (chalk) Marc Jacobs bag I carry in the winter. I think it looks amazing with creams and tans. But I don't know that I would carry a white bag. I think I'd have to see it.
