Invited to a purse party..

well its a jewlery party featuring "designer inspired" bags, it this saturday. im going to go only b/c its going to be fun, and i know everyone there and we always have a good time when we all party. im going to try to remember to snap some pics of the "beautiful bags" for you all to see.

I was invited to one of these a while back. Can't wait for the pics, sure they will be much the same as the beautiful bags that I saw.

My favorite part is when they tell you these bags "fell off the back of the truck" or "are made in the same factory as the real thing" with a wink.

I was invited to one once, but luckily I couldn't go. I always feel that I have to buy something at those parties...hopefully you find a fun piece of costume jewelry that you like.

My mother was invited to one of these parties about a year ago. The woman who was hosting the party told my mom that all the bags were authentic, but priced at a fraction of retail. I told my mom that there was NO way that the bags could be real but she insisted that they had to be. When I pointed out how unlikely it was that someone was selling "authentic" $2,500+ LV and Chanel bags for $100, she realized I was right and declined the invitation.

I've never heard of such parties. Could be due to not having any girl friends. lol Anyway, have fun and be sure to take your nicest bag!
