Lionlaw, thanks for taking the time to post all of these closeups! :)

Is the red wrinkled patent the same as your wine wrinkled patent?

I just wanted to also point out to some people, don't be afraid of the scratching because at least half my bags of any brand scratch if I intentionally or accidentally scratch with my fingernails! :) Just so no one is scared away from certain colors. For instance my red Kooba Elisha is naturally like that, but some people don't like the distressed look. Even my Belen Echandia is like that. Rebecca Minkoff as well. Glazed and untreated leathers scratch easily. More pebbled leathers naturally have a better resistance.

Good to point out! I want to add that I don't find my raspberry leather to scratch easily, I had press fairly hard at the swatch to get it to scratch but I'm not going to purposefully try this on my bag.

Adding - I will also post an update after I've carried it for a longer period of time!

Linda

No, the red is a true fire engine red. Mine is a wine color.

That is good to point out. My main reason for doing the scratch test is to make sure that if someone does not like scratches (like me) they don't buy a softer leather and end up like I did with the purple. You buy any HH bag, BE from what I can tell from pics, or any other super soft leather and you are going to get scratches naturally.
