Small leather samples from a direct scan...starting from top left moving clockwise: light blue, light wine patent w/ crinkled effect, pink, pink, tinted wine, and another light blue...I don't have the samples in front of me, although their backs have color codes written on them.

The two pebbled leather swatches at each end on the top row are very nice leathers...nice thick leathers with structure.

The light wine patent (top center) didn't come out well at all. It is best seen in the post above by lionlaw, posted on June 10th. It is a very nice, thick, soft, pliable leather with a wet look and some c/wrinkled surface texture.

The two bottom leathers on each end are plain nappa in supple leather.

The tinted wine (bottom center) looks as if the color was brushed on in random strokes ~ quite lovely for variegation and tonal variances.

Leather samples, starting top left moving clockwise: Tomato, Purple Calf (quickly develops a lightened patina with tonal variation throughout; leather is thick, soft, luscious, decadent, and puddles with use), Purple Sheepskin (very soft and thin; suitable for clutches only), Electric Blue (soft leather, pebble-textured surface, floppy handle/structure ~ ideal leather for the Millie Max), Dark Purple Patent (very difficult to photograph; surface is smooth, shiny, reflective, and looks wet; color has shimmer), Patent Wine with c/wrinkles (same leather posted by lionlaw on June 10th).

Photo taken outside, early evening with an overcast sky, with a Canon Elph SD1000. These colors look more vibrant IRL, as a couple look slightly washed out here. The Electric Blue (lower right corner) is more vibrant IRL, as is the Tomato (upper left corner).

Leather samples, starting top left moving clockwise: Whiskey (plain nappa), Patent Taupe (smooth surface is shiny, reflective, and looks wet), Olive (really nice thick structured leather with smooth surface), Chocolate with Silver Sparkle (photo cannot capture "silver sparkle"; very nice, thick structured leather with small pebble textured surface), Brown Double Tone (soft pliable leather with large brown pebbled surface and lighter brown recesses between), Gold-Tinted Camel (same type of leather as Chocolate w/ Silver Sparkle; photo simply cannot capture the sublime gold sparkle, which is really beautiful and understated; nice, thick structured leather with small pebble textured surface).

Photos taken outside during early evening with an overcast sky, and taken with a Canon Elph SD1000.

Which leathers are the softest, smooshy, and veiny....?
I know I can not have the lambskin on the larger bags ( ) so
I want to know what else would be comparable and what colors it comes in.
Thanks!

Mini Sophia in Raspberry - a structured and beautifully textured leather -

Close up of leather texture - not as light as the picture below shows - see above pics for true color representation.

As you can see the tan (sunflower) is a veiny looking leather, and it has a subtle shine to it (not quite glossy). It is soft to the touch, but I am not sure of how thick it is since the sample may be from the thinner edge of the hide. I was told that this same type of leather also comes in glossy chocolate, olive, tinted wine, black, navy, whiskey and dark whiskey, so he is sending me samples of those as well. The yellow sheepskin is also quite soft and smooshy feeling, but has a much smoother finish than the more veiny sunflower. HTH!
