Congratulations Swissaus! Your bag sounds lovely; please post pics when you receive it!

Ignacio told me that they are running low on the crinkle wine patent!!! That galvanized me into action. I ordered the crinkle wine patent Mini Sophia with burgundy dots suede, silver hardware and detachable shoulder strap for my Mom. Thanks Momo43 for the inspiration!

No Cute, I think a number of us do. It's tough, because there are questions only Ignacio is qualified to answer.

Do you prefer the smooth or crinkled patent? I have both, and they are both very, very nice. For the dark purple with the charcoal shimmer, I think the smooth is perfect. In the wine, I prefer the crinkled ~ it is such a gorgeous leather!!!

And, I ordered the crinkled patent dark grey for one of my Mini Ormalas ~ it will be so gorgeous with the lilac suede lining and silver hardware.

I've mentioned this before, although it's worth mentioning again. I have a Jimmy Choo Rana in Cigar Patent and a Chloe Heloise Tote in Bordeaux Patent ~ my Ignes patent leathers are better quality (in my book). They are softer and more supple. The Ignes crinkled patent is TDF!!!

An Ormala in dark grey patent will be awesome!!!

paintednightsky has a Mini Ormala in the smooth dark grey patent, and her bag is gorgeous!!!

I've been pondering what color Ormala I'd get next and the first isn't cut...and my other wishlist items aren't purchased...should the patent grey be an Ormala? Must have something patent grey.

Yay for you!!! So fun!!!!

Yes, I think my wishlist grew by one dark grey patent Ormala...and a Cecilia in two leathers, and still love Virginia, and of course still NEED Sofia, probably mini, in some super fun color. Maybe Virginia in purple and purple patent...yummy. LOVE purple!

And TOTALLY trying to convince dh to order my Christmas gift now...lol...Veronica (with optional wrist strap) in purple sheepskin, lionlaw's recommendation.

I'm still pondering whether to get rolled or flat straps for a mini Sophia - after scanning the forum, there seems to be a strong preference in general for flat straps, as they're more comfortable, apparently? Is that a correct assumption to make? (I know each bag/person is different).

I've just taken whatever handles came with the bag before, so having a choice is astonishing! I'm really not sure what would be best and most comfortable for both shoulder and arm-carrying. I really need the bag to be up to both.

I know whatever I get will have to be shortened as I'm 5'2", and average length straps have a tendency to fall off my shoulder, or make the bag sit just at the right height to jut out & knock over displays!
Double straps will be more prone to fall off your shoulder, although you can kind of hook one over the other and that helps. A single strap usually slides off less, you can have that modification as well. So perhaps shorter rolled handles and a single detachable shoulder strap woulld be something to consider?

LindaP is also opting for something in suede to help keep the straps from falling off her shoulder. I'm not sure exactly what it is, so I'm hoping she will chime in here to provide much greater detail than what little I mention here.

.
I am asking for a small patch of suede to be sewn into the underside of the top of the shoulder straps - where they sit on your shoulder. It's been my experience that double strap bags slip more than single straps and while I know I can hook one over the other that doesn't always do the trick. I've asked Ignacio about it and he said he felt confident it was something they could work up. I got the idea from this thread -

Shoulder strap slipping ~ any suggestions?

I haven't ordered yet as I"m waiting for the dark purple to become available and I'm hoping to get a peek at the new styles first as well. I think they were supposed to be put up at the end of this month?

No Cute.. I originally wanted the Veronica in the purple sheep skin as well but Ignacio said he would not recommend it because the leather was too thin and soft and would not be able to support the hardware in front... that's how I ended up with the cracked gold instead! But I think the purple nappa leather would look gorgeous as well!

Thanks for the tip, swissaus. I need to have a look at all the purples. Maybe I should ask Ignacio to send little samples of all the purples as I KNOW I'll be getting several purple/rasberry bags in the future. Already prepping myself to ignore Starbucks and make my own coffee most of the week (once a week treat instead of daily). 3/4 a day grows fast.

I just got the pouches that accompany my red and beige bags and the beige color is gorgeous in real life. It is a creamy-tan. The leather has a slight gloss to it.

Ok, I have posted pics in a new thread called Zebra, fuscia and black ignes reveals.

The fuscia color has me enthralled. It changes everytime I look at the bag. Not sure if I will ever wear it, but it is a really fun color.
