Euridice, we do not have cognac suede posted in any of our threads that I know of. I'll see if I can get a photo of it and post it in our Ignes swatches thread. I bet the cognac is a very rich color...it sounds really yummy!!!

Gorgeous bags LL. Seems you definitely love your Ormalas! I love the bright pop of red with the sofia.

Thanks. I am in a rut until the new models debut since I like big bags and the only big Ignes bags that I really like are the sofia and the ormala. I may change my mind about the chiara and francis once I see my chiara and the francis that someone ordered on here.

I am really hoping the new styles blow me away.

Yike, I don't have a paypal account. How do I go about setting one up? How long does it take to transfer money, etc. I was intending to use one of those prepaid visas to pay Ignacio...oops. My bad! I just emailed him and said I'll get on it, but I haven't a clue HOW to get on it!

No Cute, I think you can use a credit card ~ pre-paid or not. Your payment doesn't have to be done by PayPal. You can make arrangements for a good time to call, and call him on his toll-free number to give him the credit card info. Ask Ignacio the best way for you to submit payment ~ this is probably the best way to go.

Oh good. Thanks, dsrk. I'd rather not deal with Paypal, to be honest. But if I must, then it's for a purse

Anyone have Amalia AND Veronica? Which is better to throw cards and cash into? I want a purple wristlet for all the ridiculous grocery cards and library cards, etc. And a strap so I don't drop it so much...but small enough to toss in a tote/big purse.

I promised myself that I wouldn't keep checking here while I'm still working, but it's sooo hard! Each time I look on TPF, Ignes threads are in the top 5 and I KNOW there's been new activity. Darn you all!

Lionlaw, I love your newest bags. The beige Ormala is so elegant & a classic bag. I noticed you haven't opted for any zipper closures...just a question, have you had any customizations for these bags? Just curious.

No Cute, I don't have any bags yet, but I've had the Amalia on my list from the beginning. Depends on how you like to carry your "essentials", and how many cards/etc you plan on carrying. I like the organization of the Amalia, especially for a passport for travel.

I really want to come back and play soon. I do get excited about work, but it's not really on par with designing your own handbags.

Oh yeah, thanks to No Cute for starting the customization thread! I'm sure I'll be referring to others' choices soon.

Glad to do it and glad it was okay for such a newbie to do it, but I saw the idea, dsrk encouraged, and off I went.

The Amalia does have the great set up. What is inside the Veronica like? Just a simple pouch? That may suit my unorganized self Just throw it all in there...then the toddler pulls it all out, throws it around, and I stuff it back in

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone!

I'm still pondering whether to get rolled or flat straps for a mini Sophia - after scanning the forum, there seems to be a strong preference in general for flat straps, as they're more comfortable, apparently? Is that a correct assumption to make? (I know each bag/person is different).

I've just taken whatever handles came with the bag before, so having a choice is astonishing! I'm really not sure what would be best and most comfortable for both shoulder and arm-carrying. I really need the bag to be up to both.

I know whatever I get will have to be shortened as I'm 5'2", and average length straps have a tendency to fall off my shoulder, or make the bag sit just at the right height to jut out & knock over displays!

Hi Kuwa: Thanks! I have lengthened the handle straps on the sofias and added a shoulder strap to my black ormala. I don't have to have zippers and like to be able to reach into my bags, so I probably won't add zipper closures on anything. My big customization was mixing the zebra hair with the leather for my zebra sofia. I may add a longer body strap to a sofia if I order another one.
