Wow I just discovered this thread. The bags look fabulous!

Love the Ormala but I think it is too big for me.

Will they make a mini Ormala? Anyone know?

Oooo. Is the mini Ormala already available? I did a search again and saw that someone had mentioned it was 'in the works".

^^^ snibor, I'm not sure, although I read that people can order their Midi Sofias now and that production will begin in a couple of weeks ~ perhaps the same is true for the smaller Ormala. You can check out the Ignes web site and *chat* with Ignacio in real time Monday through Friday to find out. He may not be available if he's chatting with someone, overseeing production, or visiting the tanneries; although, I have had good luck catching him when I had questions or needed to discuss my orders.

I did a live chat with Ignacio on Friday, yes the mini Ormala is available, it is 13.2 X 10.2. He is sending me some samples and said he is including some wonderful new grays he just received.

Left Coast ladies note, he would love to have a place to showcase their bags. So please contact your favorite boutiques and let them know. Told him I would be first in line for the trunk show.

The new fall bags will appear on the website the end of August.

I emailed Ignacio and he is sending me some samples of the pebbled greys. I would like a large Ormala! He said they are going to have some new bags for the Fall coming out in August! I can't wait to see what these look like.

Oooo this is very interesting. I am wanting a new brown bag for fall. Maybe small Ormala or I'd like to see their new fall stuff.

I am also loving the patents some of you have received!

I've just confirmed/paid my order with Ignacio for my Max Millie in yellow and silver hw. I can't wait! I am holding off the raspberry and whiskey bags I've been thinking about till fall.

Congrats on your new order, it sounds lovely! Is it a light or dark yellow? the silver hardware will be fab.

My two boxes of eight Ignes bags arrived this morning, although I have been out most of the day and wasn't able to open them until about an hour ago. I started taking photos and then my camera battery died, which is now being charged. So, in the interim, I can offer the few photos I have until I can take more later.

These are customs officer inspection wounds on one box. For whatever reason, there are none on my other box. They use some sort of tool to jab at the boxes, which supposedly does not damage the contents although leaves these marks:

I took the following two photos before my camera battery died.

This is my Veronica Max in crinkled wine patent with raspberry suede lining and silver hardware. It is so hot and bright outside, so I took her photo in the shade ~ while she does not show up well, she is really beautiful IRL!!! I tried her on and she feels wonderful with her slim profile.

More to come later once my battery is fully charged. And, I will stick to taking photos when it is either overcast out or late in the day before the sun sets. I've discovered that this is when my photos come out best. So, more later!

Lionlaw - thanks for your reply re the Sophia. You have now convinced me to order one. Like you, I rarely carry briefcases and love to stuff all my papers in my bags. I have huge litigation bags that sit in my office for court (so unstylish) so I really love my big bags. I recently picked up a Choo Saba and am in love with it - so your comparison to the Sophia was great for me.

Dsrk - your bags are to die for. I would never have thought about the Dulce - but I love it in the camel colour.

Just back from a mini-holiday, must do some work....

^^^ Thanks kings_20!!! This leather is really, really nice!!! It's very supple with a nice pliable hand; yet, it's also sufficiently structured to hold its shape. I forgot to check my battery to make sure it was fully charged ~ lesson learned!! It's still charging and I need to run some errands, so I'm not sure if I'll have more photos later this evening or will have to wait until tomorrow.

horsetrader, thanks! How is your raspberry Ormala wearing?

Dsrk! Your Veronica Max is lovely! I am dying to see the rest of your bags!

Soooo, this picture has me seriously drooling:

I never really gave the Ormala a second look, but I am head over heels for it in this petrol color!
If I can swing it (and if this leather does not scratch too easily) I might go for the mini Ormala in the petrol, and the midi Sofia in the crinkled wine patent.

Congrats, dsrk! Can't wait to see all the photos! How exciting.

I like that petrol color too! I think I'll add my name to the list for the lookbook for ordering the mini Ormala. Do I need to PM you w/ my info, dsrk?

And is it true that the mini ormala is already ready?! Did I read that right?
