^Congrats Viva! It will be quite exciting to see everyones new bags that will be flooding in :) Your combination sounds quite interesting with the silver blue leather.

I've just confirmed/paid my order with Ignacio for my Max Millie in yellow and silver hw. I can't wait! I am holding off the raspberry and whiskey bags I've been thinking about till fall.

Default IGNES BAGS-Free pouch??

Hi everyone,

You all have me intrigued with thers bags and I hope to get one in the fall. Based upon everything that I have been reading, I registered for the newsletter and got an email saying that every 6th registrant gets a 'free pouch' and he will send it next week. This was interesting! Does anyone know anything aobut this? The company seems too nice to be true. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hello book lady,
Ignes is great. I have not buy any bag yet, but i am speaking with Ignacio to get a miniormala in black ostrich with turquoise sude lining and a midisofia in silver with blue. Ignacio is a wonderful man, he knows very well his leathers and can counseil you the best combinations.
I will be getting a pouch, Ignacio todl me is a little pouch, and his sister ( Maria, the co-owner) uses it for keeping her mobile. I put a pic he send me. Is the pouchette and the bag holder ( also included)
Welcome to this Ignes thread, you are going to fall in love with Ignes ( and all the wonderful girls sround here )

Hi and Welcome!! Ignes is a great company to work with and they will go out of there way to make you happy. The pouch is a little pouch that can hold business cards or a cell phone. Here is a pic of the pouch I received.

They are really a great company! Very knowledgeable, responsive to questions and customer issues and they really just want you to be happy with the end product. Ignacio is a wonderful man to work with- he's very prompt, informative and nice. They also do a lot of things for their local area, charities and are environmentally conscious, which I think are all great things. I think if you work with them, you'll be very pleased! Welcome to our new second thread!

I've always liked that little pouch they sent you. I think it would be great for an MP3 player too!

Thanks so much newbaglover, lionlaw and elizat - now I am really excited to order one. The colors and styles posted are wonderful. I wish they were available to see in the NY area but after everthing I have heard here, I am ready to take a chance.

I was just over at the Ignes pictures only thread and LindaP, I love your raspberry Mini Sofia *with* the zip top! That is a feature I really like. I didn't know if Ignacio could do that, add a zipper to a bag with the drawstring style.

Booklady to our Ignes & discussion thread #2 ! ! !

Ignes is very true ~ I can personally attest to this, which is why I submitted a large order for eight bags in June ~ and, expect to receive on Monday ~ just a couple of days away!!! Also, I added two more bags ~ which I will receive in a few weeks!! Never before have I ordered this many bags at one time from a single handbag company ~ and, I chose the designs, leathers, hardware, linings, and a small modification to my two Veronica Max bags with a shoulder strap rather than a wrist strap.

Ignes prices are very inexpensive compared to other independent handbag designers of similar quality. What we get from Ignes would cost easily twice as much or more from other brands ~ at least, based upon what I've seen for myself.

Ignes is socially conscious/responsible and in fact received the 2007 award for the Most Socially Responsible Category at the Independent Handbag Design Awards in NYC.

Are you anywhere near the City? Ignacio will visit there in September to promote Ignes and if you would like, you could meet him in person before you order, to assuage any concerns you may have and also to view their products first hand.

The 1st-Time Buyer Incentives are not tethered to expiration dates, so please do not feel rushed to submit an order within any imagined timeframes to take advantage of these generous Ignes offers.

There is a sale at the moment which will expire, although I'm not sure when.

The Ignes web site has a chat feature in real time, so, if you would like, you may opt to chat directly with Ignacio Monday through Friday during their business hours. If he's chatting with someone else, overseeing production, or visiting the tanneries, naturally, he will not be available to chat as he must be sitting at his office computer; although, I have caught him online many times when I've had questions.

Enjoy our thread, ask questions as some of us may be able to help you, and keep an eye on this thread as I will add numerous clear, detailed images of my eight bags inside and out once they arrive.

Thanks so much DSRK and everyone else who is so helpful here. I am in fact in the city and see that he does have some bags at a store on Stanton street. I like the mini Sophia or perhaps the cecelia - looking for a day to nite casual type of bag. I am looking perhaps for a dark grey in nappa or some other neutral alternative to black. It would be nice to see one in person to get a better perspective but if that doesn't happen I feel comfortable enough to just order online. My other bags have been BV's and a slight addiction to HH, but this looks nice. Thanks much.
