Thanks...

I ordered silver hardware on the black ormala. I didn't do anything crazy on the lining since I actually think I would prefer the cloth to the suede lining because it makes the bag lighter and I don't have to baby-it. I did add a long shoulder strap like on the francis in case I wanted to carry my laptop in it. I have a protector sleeve from another company that can turn any bag into a laptop case.

Omg, dsrk, finally pictures! And they all look so gorgeous! I agree, the cracked silver looks so luxurious. I am in awe of how awesome everything looks! Can't wait for your clearer shots of the bags when you receive them!

Wow DSRK, your bags are looking fabulous and those linings...*swoon!* Can't wait to see your own pics and hear your reviews!

I think the chocolate with silver sparkle is my favorite!

lionlaw: Thanks for your help. I admire all of you who are making multiple choices on styles, leathers, linings, etc. with such ease!

drsk: Great bags! I think the chocolate with silver is especially nice. If only I needed another brown bag...right now my focus is on black or grey. Did you see any great grey samples? Ignacio sent me a scan of one but it looks a little light for my taste.

Thanks and can't wait to everyone's new bags!

Windy, if you like patent leather, the patent grey is really pretty - a nice dark grey hue.

Dsrk, your bags look AMAZING! What lovely colors! I think you picked great leathers to be showcased by each style. You must be dying in anticipation!

Thanks lionlaw! As soon as I decide on everything I will be ordering the midi Sofia. What did the price wind up being for that size?

Love the dary grey patent but I don't really want patent for this particular bag. Would love that shade in a regular leather!

Holy Moses! Dsrk, your bags are so TDF that they are BEYOND death! I don't think there's an appropriate smiley to punctuate that statement except maybe in size 100 font. lol Seriously, they are all so beautiful, I cannot choose a favourite and I think you opened my eyes to liking some styles that had previously passed under my radar. The Dulce, for instance, is not an eye-catcher on the website but your gold tinted camel Dulce in that beautiful squooshy-looking leather really shows off how gorgeously chic its simple style can be when paired with the right leather. It makes this simple looking tote into an expensive looking bag.

I have to admit that the Cecilia in its zebra print on the website is too over the top for my taste, but your choice in the sparkle brown is the perfect blend of understated leather to show off the bling and the shape of the bag. I am now sold on this design! It really looks fantastic. The pictures of your bags should be used on the website to supplement their studio shots, because the designs look vastly different depending on the combinations of colours and leathers used. That is one thing that I wished the website had-- more pictures to illustrate the designs instead of just colour swatches. Some of us and the general public don't have the imaginations to picture how they look in the different leathers, or have shorter attention spans or no time to try to visualize each design's potential. Pictures, we need pictures! lol

Those Veronica Maxs with the additional shoulder straps are gorgeous! It's great to see that they turned out so well. I am so in love with that crinkle patent wine now! It is everso beautiful. As are the blues that you selected, and the Virginia is amazing except that it is so dark I cannot quite see the purple here, but hopefully your own pictures will be able to show the colour off.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention-- the SUEDE!!! Goodness, those dotty and liney fabrics are FANTASTIC! They way surpassed the potential I envisioned when I saw the mere swatches you posted. Have.To.Have.! I really do believe that a quality lining is a key component to making a bag look expensive and finished. Many bags out there focus on the design of the outside but neglect the aesthetics of the inside by using a standard generic lining, but these suede linings continue the attention to detail throughout the entire design. Quality, quality, quality!

Dsrk, ALL of your bags turned out wonderfully!!! You took a gamble to order so many bags at a time, but you hit the jackpot!!! Congratulations! You must be everso thrilled! Kudos to you and to Ignes for creating these masterpieces!

P.S. Oh great, thanks to you, I now have an even *harder* time to make my decision on my next bag, and I don't have the resources to order seven of them! LOL

I agree 100%. I think some of the photos that we've all taken help to really display the bags, more so than the website photos. I take horrid photos, but dsrk, lionlaw, paintednightsky, lindap and some others take nice photos that make the bags really shine.

It looks cute!

If you do decide to get it, don't forget to use the code "grechen" for an extra 20% off!! Then the bag would only be $120!

Yes, I am very excited and looking forward to their arrival!!

And, to reiterate, once they arrive ~ I will take clear photos and post them so we can all view details of the leathers, designs, and linings.

WOW dsrk, even though those pics are a little blurry, your bags all look incredibly beautiful!!!! I think my faves are the cracked silver Veronica Max and the chocolate sparkle Cecilia!! Those leathers are so pretty and unique! I bet you're counting down the days until they finally arrive at your door, I know I definitely would be!

I finally placed my order with Ignacio last night! I ordered:

Mini Sofia
Soft silver with blue
Silver hardware
Turquoise suede lining
Added top zipper closure
My first name engraved inside the bag (above the inside zippered pocket I believe?)

He said it would take about 3 weeks or so until it was finished and dispatched to me. I can't wait!!

And FYI to everyone-
If anyone is interested in ordering anything with the soft silver with RED leather I would do so ASAP! I'm pretty sure Ignacio said there is only enough of that leather left to make about 10 more bags. But he said that they have enough of the soft silver with blue leather to last a couple more months or longer.
