Great idea for a new thread.

I did decide to do an exchange and Ignacio is very helpful- they offered to send me the pre-paid Fedex label OR to arrange pickup. I don't know if I'll do the Midi Sofia or the smaller Ormala. I want the dimensions of the smaller Ormala first.

In the meantime, I THINK I am ordering a Bliss Lau bag I found on sale... less than $200 in black. It's not huge, but it has a good deal of depth for the size and can be worn four ways. I don't have a black bag anymore and I am having a hard time saying no!

elizat, newbaglover posted the dimensions of the Midi Sofia and Small Ormala on our first Ignes thread ~ I believe they are the same size, although it's best to check directly with Ignacio as I haven't personally confirmed any sizes with him. Hey, I really dig your Bliss Lau ~ ITA, it sounds like a great deal and hard to pass up!!! Enjoy her & wear her in excellent health!!!

WOW. dsrk, your bags are beautiful! I don't even know where to start...but the one that grabbed my attention is the Veronica Max in Cracked Silver. LOVE it!

I was just popping in to see what was new, and here are a rack of bags to ogle. Congrats! Can't wait to see action pics.

I had a lot of fun customizing my beautiful Ignes bags!!! I already knew the different styles I wanted and had chosen the leathers I love. Then, I chatted live with Ignacio via the Ignes web site and informed him of my bag styles and leather choices; he then explained to me which leathers would work best with the styles I had chosen, and I subsequently selected a style for each of my leather choices. After this, I chose a suede lining for each leather.

yeah...me too. I started by ordering a mini sofia in navy blue and then heard the next day about the midi sofia so I emailed Ignacio and asked him to switch my order to a midi as I had kinda worried the mini would be too small. He sent an email back today saying he would be happy to upgrade (small additional cost, of course, due to it being a larger bag) and the midis will be going into full production is about two weeks! I now just have to wait a couple extra weeks but I think it will be sooooo worth it!

Let us all know when you get yours...it sounds yummy! I am a bit on the conservative side (as evidenced by my navy blue choice...) but someday I'll take the plunge and get an electric color like that. I always admire it when I see others with those brilliant-color bags.

dsrk, I LOVE all your bags! The Dulcie is one I've had my eye on. Very simple, yet looks very practical for everyday use. However, I do think a Sofia of some sort will be the first Ignes for me. But then you had the cracked silver Veronica Max thrown in and I love that too!!! Too many lovely styles and leather combinations to make up my mind!!

I am considering my next Ignes purchases. I gather you are also a lawyer. Would you carry the Sophia to work, or is it just a weekend bag?

Thanks!! Yes, I am a lawyer. I have carried my sofia into work and like how it is roomy enough to hold papers in it. The sofia is a large bag, about the same size as a ramona, but the sofia puddles more so it conforms to your shape like the Choo saba.

I also carry my Choo and other high-end bags into work and usually don't carry my briefcase unless I have to go into court.
