Sorry to all for the double post, but I think I've edited the last one enough, and Ignacio just replied to me!

Here is the regular Sofia on his beautiful wife (aww! look how happy she is!), who is 5'6". If you check the blog on the Ignes website, there is a picture of his wedding! I love how the bag looks on her, but since she has 6 more inches of height on her, I decided to go with the midi for myself.

Also, to answer a question by royalwink, as per Ignacio: "The engraving is recessed; the letters used are heated on the engraving machine, and they're applied on the leather. The surrounding leather remains smooth, it's just the letters that have depth."

Hi LindaP! My Virginia is heavier than all the other bags in my 8-bag order, although, not heavier than my Cecilia. I don't consider it heavy compared to my Mini Sofias, as the leathers in both are thick. So, I can see that I'm not being too helpful here.

Also, I just found out from Ignacio that the Virginia will be discontinued from their line; so, they will not be making many more ~ this is what he wrote to me. I have no idea how many more they will make, although, if you are interested ~ or anyone else for this matter, it would be a good idea to contact Ignacio directly to find out the production timeline of this particular style.

I'm thinking of the image you posted of the deep chocolate color that appears nearly black...hmmm...or the other image in the metallic pewter...I know he has a gunmetal color...I wonder how this would look?

Back to my Dark Purple Patent Virginia...this bag is TDF!!! She is so gorgeous!!!

13.2'' (L) x 10.2'' (H) x 4.5'' (W)

While I'm here, let me tell everyone what I just put in an order for! (If you couldn't piece it all together from my other ramblings). I'm beyond excited!

STYLE: Mini Ormala
LEATHER: Charcoal Worn Effect Soft
LINING: Navy
HARDWARE: Gold
CUSTOMIZATION: Long crossbody strap, zip top enclosure, and initials inside

Sounds gorgeous, I can't wait to see your finished bag! I think the navy lining is so perfect for a charcoal bag.

Regarding engravings - I used my full name and didn't find it to be obtrusive or too big or anything to that effect. In fact, I really don't even see it unless I specifically look for it.

In the modeling pic of the regular Sofia, is it the tinted wine? It is stunning and I love the size. I am sooo excited for fall.

She is soooo cute!! Ignacio mentioned to me that her name is Chiara and that the Chiara bag is named after her. How sweet is that?

I NEED a regular Sofia, it is stunning!

So yay my post stuck! I had to open a new user name (I was bite_pilka - not sure which I will be keeping. Will let you know.) And even then it didn't work, and finally Vlad had a solution for me. I have typed out so many replies to the beautiful bags here and lost them all!

dsrk, your new bags are all amazingly beautiful. All the color combos work really well. I especially like the purple patent. Hope to see that in the sample book when it makes it my way, as I wonder if that wouldn't work better for me than the grey nappa I was looking at. I wasn't thrilled with the sample from that as it just seemed to be too "flat" - I like the greys where in some lights they look purple or brownish or greenish and this was not like that as far as I could tell from the swatch.

Also, so cool to see that large sized Sofia - it is way bigger than I pictured. I'm now wondering if the midi will be larger than I really want. Hmmm.

elizat, did you get the bliss lau bag you were considering? I've been eyeing one too and can't decide. Curious to hear how you like it if you did get it.

Wow I've missed a lot the past few days, so much has been going on!

dsrk- Your bags are all stunning!! You did such a great job choosing the perfect leathers to showcase each style, and the suede linings to go with them!

Kkay- What color is that Francis that you posted a pic of? It looks like some sort of bright purple patent? It is definitely TDF!! I've been looking for a fun bright purple bag, this is right up my alley!

Congrats to everyone who ordered their bags! I'm waiting for my Mini Sofia, too, I can't wait until we all get our orders and I can't wait to see all the different styles, colors, and customizations that everyone chose!

Hi bite_pilka/golden_gardens ~ I was wondering what happened to you as I have missed you!!

Thanks for the kind words about my order ~ I love them!!! And, their interiors are TDF!!!

I found that the dark purple patent sample cannot exhibit its color well in a small 2"x3" swatch. Much better to see it in a larger portion, such as my Virginia. She's a beauty!!!

The greys you describe sound fantastic!!! Which greys are they?

I wish I had an answer for you , but I was just sent that picture as an example of the Francis zipper, I have no idea what color it is. I will ask Ignacio in my next email but if you're in communication with him too (and who doesn't want to be, he's amazing) you can ask too.

It's funny, every picture that Ignacio sends of other bags to show me different features make me go "OH! wow!... hrm... burgundy-ish Sofia... purple patent Francis.. oooh" haha I'm such a window shopper, I buy off mannequins all the time. Only choosing two bags to get was so hard with all the options we can have!

I also just reread one of my emails, and Ignacio mentions that he will be putting more modeling pictures of the actual bags on the site, but he wonders if clients would prefer more "real" models or "model" models. Any votes?

I really don't have a preference for either models or 'real' folks, I'd just be glad to get a good look at the bag on a real flesh and blood person rather than a drawing. Pictures can be deceiving as to size, I am constantly shocked to see bags that I didn't think were that big that look huge when I find a modeling photo.

Oh my gosh, Ignacio's wife is adorable! So happy looking. I like the Sofia but you know, it seems big to me and she's taller than me by 3 inches. Hmmm, we need to ask Ignacio to have her model the midi!
