Talking Highest quality bag you've owned?
Hello,

After looking through the forums of some of the higher end designers, I was surprised to see how many complaints there are about poor quality. So out of curiosity - what designer has the highest quality purses based on bags you've owned? Regardless of price or reputation.

Thanks!

So far after owning 20 hand bags, I would say my Chanel lambskin timeless flap. I have not own any Hermes yet, but I believe their quality should be better than any brand at this moment.

A Bottega Veneta. The leather is superb, so soft and smooshy. Definitely the best quality bag I own and will ever own.

I'd say my Chanel & Prada bags are the best quality I have..although I have an MJ stella in bark and the leather is so heavy and luxurious, and the lining is magenta suede....I'd say that one ranks pretty high too...

My Prada bags were the ones that could take as much abuse as I put them through. The deerskin is just amazingly strong and durable.

It's hard for me to nominate one particular brand over others I own in terms of quality - I inspect the bags I purchase thoroughly before buying and they are all of excellent quality. LV, Anya Hindmarch, Bally, YSL, Fendi.

I don't buy anything less than excellent(what would be the point) but I think that a 1970s vintage lambskin CHANEL, a 1990s Gucci custom-made lizard 'kelly', a 1950s Korret travel handbag and my suede-lined taboco lamb Gucci horse-bit hobo are beyond quality.

I also am still head over heels in love with my Gucci Suede Baboushka boston from a year ago. I should be cross I bought it full retail when others bought there's half price a few months later but really, I'm still happy because that bag is so worth it.

They are my dream bags

I've battered my Anya Hindmarch Elrod and the leather is still excellent.
My LV's are being thrown around quite a bit too and I think the leather quality is good.
I baby my Chanel's though but I make sure I buy durable leathers (eg caviar), pre 07 or vintage

Quality is an issue wherever you go

For it's price range, Marc Jacobs has beautiful leather. The leather is so thick and soft, the suede lining doesn't hurt either.
