Even tho I just received it, I have owned nothing but leather bags all my life, and since its the QUALITY of the leather you are asking about, I think its my Gerard Darel. It is so soft and luxurious......the Mulberry seems to be the most durable tho.

I have a 5 year old Burberry canvas that still can pass for new and it's been everywhere with me.

Prada has very high quality bags but I don't like the pleather they are using inside some of them.

Prada. I don't baby my handbags so they do take quite an abuse. I don't have Chanel but I do know that they do make really good bags.

I have a Bottega Veneta flap bag that is of superb quality/workmanship however, I would have to pick my Celine Bittersweet as the highest quality bag I own as it is much more durable than the BV and doesn't need to be babied to stay in top condition.

I used to own an Hermes Plume. It was definitely the highest quality bag I've ever had. Just perfect. I sold it because the style was not right for me, but the quality was out of this world.

re leather and craftsmanship, it would be my lambskin Chanel; LV is coated canvas but to me it is also of high craftsmanship.

I have a nice assortment of Coach pocketbooks when they were made in the USA, of water buffalo leather, they are quite durable and classic.

My Burberry Haymarket Check bag...I haven't been kind to it and it still looks brand new.

Ironically, Longchamp and Bottega Veneta -- my least and most expensive bags.

I don't baby my bags. If they end up trashed, I toss 'em and never buy that bag again. Bags are meant to be used.

for me Marc Jacobs seem to hold up remarkably well, at least the collection line does.
