Help with Goyard Paint Colors!!

Ladies who love Goyard.... I need some advice. I just got the large St. Louis tote in the burgundy or raspberry color (not sure what the color is called)... I'm looking for your ideas on painting stripes... I have some ideas (black&white, royal&white, green&white), but would love to hear what you think might be some good, fun color choices.

Goyard offers a customizing service, where they paint two stripes, a crown or your initials on your bag. I guess the OP is talking about the two stripes.

Can someone please post a photo with an unpainted Goyard and a painted one? I am very curious to see what this looks like? Do you pay extra for this service or is it included with every bag to make it more personalized?

You could put 2 white stripes and have the raspberry come through in the middle - I think that would be nice, a little sporty though. I'm actually deciding whether to get the GM or the PM - is the GM really really big? I'm only 5'3" so I don't know what size I really want.

You have to pay extra. I am based in Japan. Here - it is JPY16,000 (about US$160) to have initials painted, another JPY16,000 to have stripes (on one side of the bag only), and another JPY16,000 to have a logo painted. And if you go for gold or silver paint - it is extra JPY16,000 over and above the cost for painting stripes, logo etc.

insy.spider- GM is really big. Can almost be a weekender, unless you really like big bags.
