Help! Which one to keep? Chanel Cambon or Neverfull MM?
Baglovers, please help me decide -
I need to sell one of my purses to help fund a new (non-purse) purchase. Now, which one should I get rid of and which one should I keep? LV Neverfull MM in Monogram or large Chanel Ligne Cambon bucket/tote in pink&black? I love them both but unfortunately have to part with one of them and that's why I find myself in such a dilemma. The pink cambon is my one and only Chanel whereas I have other LVs. But on the other hand, the Chanel pink/black color seems outdated by now, do you agree? Oh, what to do?!

Which do you use most? Do you have other Monogram bags that you would use instead?
Also you may get a little more money selling the Chanel I would think. I love Chanel but I have the LV MM also and personally I would keep that over a pink Cambon but that is just me as I would not carry a pink bag myself and use my LV all the time

I'd keep the LV. I am normally a huge Chanel fan but I feel the Cambon is just dated.

I would part with Chanel Cambon.....out of the two I think the Neverfulll is more classic (and I love Chanel)!

You have other LV but no other Chanel.. Keep your Chanel. You can always get another LV, they stay the same, but you wont be able to get the same color/style of Chanel.

But despite all this Cambon Ligne bashing that seems to go on (probably because it became TOO popular and started a deluge of fakes) I think they are useful, versitile and pretty without being totally girly (even in the pink). I think you will be annoyed when you get rid of your only Chanel - all Chanel prices now have gone through the roof so you'll have to seriously save if you want a Chanel replacement. If you are the only person carrying a pink cambon it will look more exclusive, your trademark bag. Becuase it's pink it's great for summer. Because of the black you can wear it winter too! My bag gets me more compliments now than ever and I think it's because MOST people have quite short memories regarding fasion. However like I said the LV bag is also a great bag. Don't be swayed by what's in or out. Never mind fashion what goes around comes around again and again. Follow your heart. |

I was just thinking:
Are you really sure you want/need to sell either? It's not a great time to be selling either one of those bags since they aren't particularly rare. You certainly won't get much on the pink Chanel and the LV is quite good value for money brand new from the store or LV site (relatively speaking of course) Can't you raise some $$$ some other way? |
