Hi everyone!
so lately I've been feeling pink A LOT. I want to paint my whole room pink. I recently bought a lovely pink duffle coat, pinkish lipstick and a pink skirt. Now all I need is.... a pink bag! ![]() I have a few in mind. I want to start off with a favorite: a bubblegum pink Balenciaga with gold hardware. ![]() I loooove this one!!! But I'm also trying to look for more affordable options, especially since I bought a Balenciaga Day (Maledives) just two weeks ago. So my second option is the Moni Moni Splendor bag. I love the color on this bag! I'm not really a big fan of the loud and darker pink colors and this bag just has the perfect shade of minty pink (does that even exist... minty pink?). The only problem is that I've read some complaints on the quality of these Moni Moni bags. Is it worth $495? A very affordable option would be the The Sak Silverlake Convertible Satchel in plum. It's just... no pink right? The color that is shown on these pictures is ok though, I like the light purple color as well. But when you look at some of the modeling pictures the purple color looks even darker than on this picture here. The Sak should REALLY do this bag in pink next spring!! So, what to do? Which of these bags do you like the best? And - I'm kind of hoping for this - do you know any other pink bags in a somewhat similar style (kind of slouchy, distressed leather, hobo-ish)? I will welcome any kind of soft pinkish shade (also very light purple or salmon pink)!! Also, are there any more pink lovers out there? ![]() Edited: I attached the Silverlake in Plum and the Splendor in pink. |

I am thinking for your price range, maybe customize one w/ ignes or BE? Ignes has a great slouchy shaped bag-you pick the color and hardware.

That Bal is an absolute stunner!
![]() Recently bought a Splendor and I think it's well worth the money. It's lovely and slouchy and soft and, though I've only had it a month or so, no problems to speak of and it's been my everyday bag since I received it. The dye is uneven on mine though, so if you like a perfectly saturated dye-job you might want to look at something else. Sak is mauve more than pink... ![]() Speaking from personal experience, though... the Moni doesn't quash the Balenciaga love if it's the Bal you really want. I'm just waiting for my first Bal to arrive now; love my Moni but it's just not the same... |

Thanks so much for the Ignes tip! I'm really liking the Emilia style. The only problem is that I can't really see what it would look like in the vintage pink (love that color!!), so I sent an email asking for pictures. :)
I think you make a very valid point Chikapinku. If I really love the Balenciaga pink one, I should just save up and get that one. I'm gonna sit on this one for a while....

Try some of Rebecca Minkoff's bags in "rose". The color is such a pretty pink.

I bought a moni moni online from Anthropologie several years ago on deep discount. I was not happy with the stitching or overall quality and sent it back. That was awhile ago so the quality might be better now? The Bal is a very pretty color, especially with the gold.
