I got this at Aldo last week. $35. I'm already obsessed with it. Plus the lining is to die for

My issue with lower price point bags is the linings not being sewn into the shape of the bag, if that makes sense. I've actually run into this with $300.00+ bags, as well. I hate when a bag has the lining only sewn into the top or opening of the bag. For instance, if you turn the bag upside down, do the contents fall out or does the lining turn inside out with the contents?

Friends have told me I'm too picky but I've found that some cheaper, super cheaper, bags have the lining sewn in while some medium or fair priced bags don't.

I've spent over $250.00 on, for instance, a Bebe bag and the lining is only sewn into the opening. It drives me nuts.

OH I totally hear you about the linings. It was one of the reasons I got rid of my gryson hannah. All that suede hung down from around the zipper, flopped around and got in the way. am a total sucker for cheap bags when the inside is fiished well.

samjane - that Aldo bag is cute.

I have liked my cheap target bags but generally go for canvas or nylon when going cheaper.

Some gap banana bags have been nice and on sale they are cheap.

Do they still have sigrid olson bags? A friend had some that she loved that she got
from Filene's basement.
