Ok, I finally got around to taking pics of the bag my mommy made (along with the matching fingerless gloves and scarf. I can't find the hat w/ tassels). I should have straightened out the ribbon before I did this, but oh well :) We're going to try the fingerless gloves again with a smaller gauze wool.

Ohh chain straps! Just don't post anything quilted that ALSO has a chain strap. I really CANNOT buy anything else, and I am having a hard enough time keeping that beige one with the sky-blue jewels somebody posted last night (deliberately to tempt me, I am convinced).
And now here you are starting in on the chain straps. hmmph.

Gals, I don't even know where to start! What a bunch of cute, cute bags you have found! China, I love the bag your mom made! And her making it is just priceless! I cherish the things that are handmade by my grandmothers and my mom! Even though I'm not so crafty I occasionally make items for my girls to have someday that I made with my own 2 hands for them!
I also love those Hello Kitty items and that red wallet with the cool hardware! I had a blast on Etsy today and wanted to buy some stuff but I never got an email saying my registration was complete and I can't sign in yet! If it all works out and I buy the things I wanted, I'll post 'em for you!
