Ah, I know La Redoute well.

I used to shop from their catalogue.

Absolutely! That is WHY I love it...she is a bit of a "muse" to steal a very current term!

I love this, but I would have to favor the more "nostalgic" one...I am a sucker for vintage....

Found these on Overstock.com. I'm not sure if they're real or not (I'm assuming, since it's not the auction part - it's the actual company), but they have a lot of cute evening bags by Francesco Biasia that retailed for over $200, and are marked down to the $30-40 range. I've been satisfied with my many overstock.com purchases, but I've never bought any handbags from them.

Francesco Biasia Snake Leather Evening Bag - $36.99 (orig. $270)

FB Snake Leather Handbags - $39.99 (orig. $216)

The rest of their Francesco Biasia items can be seen here

Yikes! I love this one!
Overstock.com: Francesco Biasia Fucshia Handbag : Handbags
Another great deal. And I agree, I have been very happy with my overstock purchases. I think they are ok if they are not on the auction part of the site. Their auctions are almost all fakes, IME. (though I am thinking of high end when I say that, so Gucci, LV, Chloe, etc.)
