I too think this is an investment bag that will last you for as long as you love it and a lot longer too! Seriously, it is beautiful and this seems like an itch you maybe ought to just scratch?!

i looove this bag.
if you are worried that it is too 'trendy' then get it in black or some other neutral colour, and not in patent, since patent is definitely a trend that comes and goes.

I love this bag!! I so want one, and hopefully will be getting one this summer!! I saw some metallic versions in Harvey nics, in London and I must say they were gorgeous, but a bit pricey at £1300!! How much do the normal balck/whote nightingales retail for in the US?

If you have money for it, I'd say buy it! I too often put myself in debt cause of my "I need it, what if I can't find it in that color or for that price" thinking which isn't good... so money=buy it... no money= wait!

there's something about this bag that I don't like, can't quite put my finger on it...but it looks adorable on Reese Witherspoon. Hopefully it'll go on sale and you can get it for a good price!

I haven't seen it IRL, but it really looks lovely. I like the white color, but black is always a sure bet.

i bought this bag fall 07.... and i absolutely adore it... love it... it's nice with most outfits. normally bags look either nice when their empty or when its stuffed. this bag looks good both ways.

a definitely must buy for those who are considering this bag!

just ordered the wrinkled black one with metallic ostrich handles from Barney's website. It looks like the earlier version (thicker strap w/zipper, gunmetal hardware) but with the softer leather. Very excited to see it in real life!
