I just purchased a FB Secret Love J in a beautiful purple. I'm undecided as to whether I'm going to keep it, but based on the comments, I'm warming up to the idea! It is a pretty bag. There is a cute buckle and it uniquely opens on a diagonal! I couldn't find where it was made anywhere on the tag or inside. I presume not Europe as my impression is that it's designed there, but out sourced for manufacturing.

You are probably correct, Francesco Biasia has only a handful of bags each season that are actually made in Italy. They are always over $500. Look inside the zippered compartment, sometimes the country of origin in in there! Still nice bags for the money no matter where they are made.

I am in love with FB bags. You can probably tell if you search for all of my posts regarding this designer. Truly great hardware and material. I did, however, see one at TJMaxx a couple of months ago, and I was because the quality was very underwhelming and it made me sad. Hopefully, it was just a fluke because if FB bags go the way of most other mid-range designers out there, I suggest that we gals hold on to our favorite older bags and not sell them. Hopefully, this was just a single incident.

Default Francesco Biasia or Manzoni wallets
I am considering purchasing Francesco Biasia or Manzoni Wallet, can someone give me insight into the quality of the two brands?

I have two FB bags - one I believe is from the wild lady line ( it has similar styling and details as some of the pics I saw in this thread) it's dark navy tote-style with side panels of suede with studded "strips" that lead to a harness type ring on the sides..but it doesn't have braided handles - it has two short handles in leather and one long strap. I get SO many compliments on this bag -- more than my marc jacobs, LV etc. People LOVE this...

I use this all the time, all winter long and it's in great condition..it's my heaviest bag ..the leather is really thing and nice. I don't know the name - by fluke accident I got this for $20 at Winners (sort of like TJ maxx in Canada) because the tag was wrong it was supposed to be 200.

I also got another FB bag in deep forest green from the Water lily line. I love them..mine say made in Bulgaria. I did a search right after I bought the first bag and it orig. retailed for over $500.

Also, when I was in Paris at the high-end department store Printemps or whatever, they had sections of Francesco Biasia bags and I saw lots on girls over there..

I have one from a couple of years ago or so - i forget the style, but it's amazing quality (made in Bulgaria I think?), i carry it almost daily since it's so practical with pockets and stuff. And I agree, lately, the quality on FB bags hasn't been same. So, that was probably my one and only FB, but it's my fave bag.

I have a FB bag from last year. It is in a really pretty dark grey...almost black. It is a big bag and has a lot of pockets which are really useful. I haven't carried it a lot but the quality is great.
