Default First love on TPF?
Just wondering what bags you first 'stalked' on TPF ..and what bags you crave now if different. I'll go first: my first love was TANO (bought 3 bags), then I moved onto RM (ended up with 8 bags and a wallet Today I only wear one of my Tano bags... pretty much over it. I don't see my love for RM dying out anytime soon.

What about you??

I've come full-circle. After I joined tPF I started stalking Balenciaga. But I thought I couldn't afford them. Over the last two years I've purchased a lot of nice bags that I learned about here on the forum. But recently I've realized that if I can just resist the other bags I can easily afford Balenciaga. I now have 2 B-bags and I tuly love them more that almost all my other bags. So for me, it was Balenciaga and will continue to be Balenciaga with a few goodies on the side.

I started out with LV, and still love it, although I've drastically cut back on purchasing them (mostly for my poor wallet's sake, LOL). Now, I also spend a fair amount of time in the Coach and Hayden Harnett sections.

I found tPF while looking for information about Belen Echandia. That lead to the purchase of my purple Love Me (and four other BE's since). I have found all kinds of brands I never knew about and have become a much more knowledgable consumer, if also a somewhat more obsessive one.

Interesting thread!

I came to TPF with a healthy RM addiction (an oxymoron if I ever heard one ) and a slight interest in LV, and then moved on to Balenciaga, Hayden-Harnett, Ignes, Treesje, Lauren Merkin, and Belen Echandia. I would have to say that BE is definitely my greatest love now (I sold all of my RMs, though I still like some of the "vintage" designs and leathers), but I am still interested in Bbags, HH, Ignes, and Treesje -- and just starting to explore other brands like Tano and Prüne. I don't see BE losing its status as my primary love anytime soon, though.

I came to learn more about spotting fake COACH bags. I stumbled into LV and Gucci for a bit and I dabble in Balenciaga now too. Ive never strayed too far from COACH though.

I came here looking for more info on Coach, but have fallen in love with the Chloe Paddington bag. I'm also lusting after a pair of Christian Louboutins...someday!

I believe I first lurked in the Fendi subforum looking for the Spy bag or Baby Spy. That was a long time ago, and I am truly glad that I didn't follow through with getting one just because of some of the hardware issues and weaving issues in the handles that I have read about. I still like the looks of the baby spy, though. Now, I am lurking in the Bottega Veneta subforums gathering more information and knowledge before I take the plunge and buy one of those bags.

I started with Coach but quickly moved on because Coach is everywhere and I wanted bags that were unique. I tried LP next, but the LP bags were too casual for me. I tried RM and I still have a Blue Stonewash Nikki that I like. However, I gave up on RM because I don't like most of the styles and there are too many CS and QC issues. I tried Belen Echandia and found the perfect brand for me - great bags that are both stylish and practical. I've looked through the subforums for all of the other brands, but I haven't seen anything that I like as much as BE.

I came on here after a year of loving/buying Mulberry bags, when Mulberry finally got its own forum here a few friends of mine have LV & Marc Jacobs bags so I stalk the other other sub forums so I can keep up with their chat!!! I also have 1 chloe and 1 bal, but my first love will always be Mulberry.

I first came here trying to find out what a certain Coach bag was (and to this day can't remember what it was!) and fell in love with Coach. I still mostly look at Coach but also like to check out the Belen Echandia forum!

I stumbled upon the forum by sheer accident and fell in live with Treesje bags. I have to say that I am an equal opportunity bagaholic and have since purchased not only Treesje, but also one RM and one HH, and couple of LPs. I love them all, they are all different and each brand has its own niche when it comes to bags. However after I fell into BE subforum, I am completely obsessed with having one myself. I am saving my money for BE, hopefully it will be a long and happy relationship and will put an end to my playboy ways

It's interesting to think about the different designers I wanted to try since coming to PF. I came here originally to learn more about Bottega Veneta. I had a fake "new" bag and some genuine vintage BV's and couldn't tell real from fake at all. BV didn't have its own subforum originally--it's exciting to see how it has grown.

Over the 3 yrs. I've been here I've bought several Chanel, Hermes (no Birkin or Kelly), Tod's, Hogan, Celine, MBMJ, Louis Vuitton, and Kooba.

Today I have several BV's, one Chanel, one Hermes, 2 Tod's, one MBMJ, and the others have sold over time. BV will be my first and deepest love. I've had some Chanels I really didn't want to part with, though.

I guess I just don't experiment much with other brands. Happy with BV.
