I found tpf while looking for more information about BV. After wandering into a BV boutique about 1 1/2 ago, I was hooked and found the BV subforum an invaluable resource about the pros and cons about various styles, durability of different types of leather, etc.
Ferragamo has become my 2nd love and I've lurked in the YSL, Prada and LV subforums too. BV will always remain my favorite! |

I stumbled on to this sight after buying my first coach bag. After that I purchased only coach bags until yesterday.
(Can't find my camera right now to reveal ) TPF opened up a whole new world for me. There are not very many people that carry designer bags where I live and I really did not know much about different bags until I found TPF. Thank you TPF!!!! |

It was Louis Vuitton by accident when I was searching for bag maintenance on LV stuff but now it seems like I have moved onto Balenciaga and Hermes.

I started with LV and I'm still in love with LV. Sometimes I have a look at Bal's, but don't buy it right now.

I came here researching a Tano boogie bucket...but I already collected Coach before I joined. Since joining tpf, I now own several RM as well as Belen Echandia bags...and I love them all...I am an equal opportunity bag lover!

i love bags! when I got my first coach, i knew that my purse collection will grew eventually. so i spend hours finding a purse forum like this. then I learned a lot from dust bags to where to store your bags (cabinets from ikea), and I'm so much inspired for those who have a huge purse collection (what a great collection) and to be honest I envy you girls!!
so from my first coach, i found myself buying another coach purse, MK, Cole Haan and im really wanting to have my first LV (got inspired by TPFs) so last xmas my hubby gave me LV mono speedy 30 and I love it!! then the latest, 2 days ago I purchased my first gucci sukey (it's on his way to my arms, i need to wait til friday). Its not an instant buying, all i have to do is to wait plus work hard like crazy. lolz!! but yeah, im really inspired and wanting more. needless to say, but my hubby is very supportive on my addiction.

I first started with Coach, but since then have have sold almost all of my Coach bags. Then I moved to (in order) LV, Gucci, Bal, RM back to LV and now back to Bal.

RM. it's what got me started on tpf...it was before rm even had her own subforum. i've dabbled in MJ some but mostly my love stays with RM.

when I first joined TPF it was all about Coach for me, but I've now moved on to LV, Chanel, Rebecca Minkoff and Marc Jacobs, and hopefully soon Balenciaga! I actually don't own any Coach bags anymore.

My first love was the Dior Gaucho - it's the reason why I joined tPF. Then I moved on to Chloé, Gucci and Balenciaga. Now I'm into Chanel and I'm starting to show an interest in Hermès too...

I joined because I was totally lost in the bag territory. In high school I craved LV and Dior (mostly because I could not afford them). Then I lost interest and I used backpacks for several years. A few years ago I found a well paid job and decided to update (upgrade too) my wardrobe and accessories and suddenly realised that I had no clue about what was fashionable as far as bags were concerned.
I knew I did not really like LV (far too many around, etc..) and Dior, but was otherwise lost. The brand that first attracted my attention was Tod's and it is still my favourite - it suits my needs, not too extravagant, high quality, etc... I got to like also other brands, such as Prada, Miumiu, Balenciaga and GD. It is interesting to read about some American brands (such as RM and Coach), but I don't buy if I cannot check IRL, so that part is purely theoretical

Even though I had a variety of bag brands before visiting TPF, the Balenciaga forum brought me here. I still lurk in the Balenciaga forum, but now have added Rebecca Minkoff to my lurking repertoire.
