I started with LVs ONLY then moved onto Hermes. Now I dab into everything - LV, CHANEL, Balenciaga, Hermes ... My collection has done a complete 180º since I first joined.

My 1st Loves Gucci and Coach just gotta love them so pretty well made.

Since TPF I have been stalking Louis Vuitton Collection and Vintage Trunks. I just purchased my first vintage trunk not a LV however watching all estate sales and auctions for my dream vintage trunk a LV.

However, I am a total die hard Gucci and Coach addict

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette! LV items were priced so shockingly high that this was the only bag I would consider. I have since moved on to the Speedy and other designers. :) But I stalked that bag and found an authentic one on the 'bay, purchased it used. Then I sold it because I wasn't thrilled with the condition and it had a musty smell (yuck) and bought myself a brand new one at the boutique.

I found TPF while trying to authenticate a vintage Gucci. I had just had my first baby and was looking for a treat for myself! Between 2am feedings and changing diapers, I read threads about bags I had never heard of before. It was like a whole new world to me. Since then, I've discovered so many new designers that I love like Gryson, Gustto and Botkier. My handbag collection has tripled since joining TPF. Whereas I only really knew of LV, Marc Jacobs and Gucci before, I now have a deeper appreciation for other classic beauties like Fendi, Ferragamo, Chanel and Bottega Veneta. TPF has also taught me that it's worth saving up for THAT bag rather than having a dozen cheaper bags.

If I remember correctly, I think when I first found tPF it was mostly LV that I was interested in. Then I moved into Balenciaga and Chanel. Dabbled a bit into Hermes. Found myself back into Balenciaga (which has been my ongoing interested over the few years), and then about 6 months ago I was bored and was browsing some of the other subforums and came across Belen Echandia. I eventually decided to order one and was HOOKED! Now I'm totally loving BE and it's my latest obsession, although I still have a love for Bal as well.

I was looking for info on Balenciaga and it was my first designer bag buy. Since then, I've gotten Tods, LV, Furla, Gucci etc. Currently stalking BV and Chanel but Bal will always be my first love

Interesting thread!
I discovered this site when I wanted to purchase a fendi baby spy on ebay. At that time i was into Fendi and Chloé. Since then I discovered balenciaga - for wich I have a very soft spot for the matelasse style.Am now slightly unfaithfull to my balenciaga - I´ve been lurking on to my original fave´s the Fendi baby and Chloé edith and bay again. Guess you cant teach an old dog new tricks

I have done the opposite. When I first joined I dabbled in everything. I bought Miu Miu. Gucci, Balenciaga, Burberry, and of course LV. Now I have sold off most of my earlier bags and I mainly purchase LV and I have one Hermes. Funny how our tastes evolve in different ways.

Found TPF while researching what color my Bal was. then got hooked on RM. slightly dabbled in Chanel. Now I'm determined to find my next Bal...or maybe a Valentino.

I actually started on TPF to find people who would be as excited as I was about my first MiuMiu, my Harlequin I started stalking the Fairy bag about two days later and have lost my heart/head many a times since. I crushed on Chanel seriously for about three months but have had to accept that it is not to be... yet...

I started with Kooba. A black patent Hudson. Then I jumped to Chanel.. Since then I have bought all kinds of bags. As long as it is gorgeous,I will buy it! I am not dedicated to one designer only.

I came here looking for info and sales about Coach. Then I had no idea about purses, I was only interested because they had opened a boutique near me.

Then I saw that there were so many options, and there's no looking back since. The options are the reason for my ever changing wishlist and all my non-purse loving buddies to roll their eyes every time I tell them of a new discovery on tPF.

I found tpf when looking into a Coach bag and then became addicted to this site, I since expand beyond Coach to Gryson, RM and so many others but found out that a bag is so much more that a holder for all the stuff I carry.
