Shoes, I know!~
I have always been a big fan of Nancy's at Kaleidoplace (she resells H).

Lately I noticed that she has come up with her own collection of exotic handbags and clutches under her own label. This Plume-lookalike is one of them, but it's sold out.

There are some clutches too and I am really keen. The prices are totally fantastic!

Wondering if anyone has ordered any of her exotic bags?

I have just had a look at the site. If I were you, I would try to find a croc vintage bag, it wouldn't be as expensive....
I have found mine in consignment shops...

Thanks for the suggestion! But I'm not into vintage, even if they are cheap. I prefer a brand new exotic bag and the point is that Kaleidoplace bags are cute, looks well-made and are quite a steal for croc.

Anyone who bought from her collection? Can you share what you think? Thank you!

I was going to say that there are some incredibly cheap exotic skin bags both on fleabay and some websites such as vintageskins.com

But of you don't like have you checked out Nancy Gonzales?

Most of those cheap ones are really low grade croc, you can tell from the scale pattern and scar marks on them.

In fact, Nancy Gonzalez uses the lowest grade croc skin of all - Caiman!
I am personally not a fan.

I did order KP collection and have two clutches from her collection and they are awesome.....I had been yearning for an emerald green in exotic skin but didn't find one that I liked and with hermes things are so unpredictable but when I saw the clutches they were awesome and in exactly the color i wanted and have beautiful and high quaity shiny exotic croc skin with even and symmetrical scales and the craftmenship is absolutely wonderful. The price for the quality is a steal : ))) hope that helps

I have the Olympia from her collection in matte graphite with blue contrast stitch and interior. It's a great bag: it's like a LV Speedy but in croc and with two outside pockets. I'm really happy with it: very easy to shoulder carry and tote by the short handles. The workmanship is really good and the skin is just fantastic.

Croc Olympia update: I've used this bag since I got it for 13 days out of 14. I've had some transport problems over the past two weeks which basically means I need a shoulder bag that is easy to use and that I don't need to baby. I've carried this bag on a half hour walk (unplanned: couldn't get a cab) in bright sunshine: I was freaking out about the croc fading, but I haven't noticed any difference. I've also carried her in light rain: rain spots just dry off. The bag has softened slightly with use but has stayed basically unchanged. Love the outside pockets which are very handy for transport card, phone etc.

There are two inside open pockets and one zip pocket. Mine is lined in blue electric microsuede.

The strap is just about long enough to sling cross body for me on the last hole, but I usually shoulder carry it with the strap on one of the middle holes. I'm also very pleased at the lack of obvious logos.

I believe each bag is bespoke and also depends on skin availability. I was lucky enough to choose graphite when there was graphite skin available and then worked with Nancy to incorporate my favourite colour, blue, into the stitching and lining.

HTH!
(pic below shows the bag after 2 weeks of not-very-gentle use)

I love the Olympia! It is a beautiful bag and I have been looking for a reasonably priced croc. Do you mind sharing the price? I can't seem to access the Kaleidoplace website. It appears to be down? I have purchased an H item from Nancy in the past and I know she is great to work with. Thanks!
