It is a good concept, but checking them all out, and having tried another type, I went a different route.
There's a gal who custom-makes purse inserts, (eBayer)
You pick your own color, size, and depth ! She does lovely work and is competitively priced. Very fast, too, considering it's made-to-order.
After reading some of the nays on PTG I am happy I chose her. The inserts are silky but stand up well and are worthy of your nicest bag. I'm OK with standard pockets but am sure that she could make some larger if you need.
(They are slip pockets, not gussetted if that matters.)
The inserts conform to your bag's shape, round oval, rectangle, all good.

Anyway, if you already knew about these, excuse the repeat,
no search available, yaknow.

I turned mine inside out. The velcro is now on the inside & the pockets are on the outside so it holds more.

Yep, the breakaway styles works for sm-med-lg, you add as needed ! The fabrics are feminine and elegant or plain cotton, something for everybody.Whatever you prefer. Did I mention they are machine washable ? Can you tell I'm a fan ?

They look really nicely made. I have a Tano Boogie Bucket bag which is 12 inches wide. What length insert do you suggest?

Regular one is 36" long and wraps around inside bag
Her 'Break-Away' style comes in your choice of A- three 12" sections,
or B -one 12" and one 24", with velcros to hook them together to a full 36".
Probably you'd like the B option & use the 24" in your boogie.

Here is my Purse to Go (size Jumbo) in Galliera PM! It fits perfect and helps hold up the bag as well (no folding over issue)!

With my 12" laptop...

What size to easily transition from my Rebecca Minoff MAM to a LV speedy 30 to a Marc Jacobs Multi Pocket Large? Think the Large will fit all 3?

I got the ebay Breakaway insert yesterday for my new Tano Boogie and It really isnt what I expected. There is two parts that velco together but that is all the velcro on it. The 24" portion is way too small to wrap around the edges, you need to use the whole thing, but it is too long and you need to overlap it and there isnt anything to hold it in place. I used a paperclip for now. It is silly, even if you tried to use the 24" part by itself, no velco either. It also doesnt really stay in place in the Boogie, maybe because the bag doesnt shave a lot of shape to it and the firmness of the insert isnt too much either. Maybe I need something more firm to go in it? Anyway, it also came with a black cotton backing with the silky fabric on the front. I saw no black on any of the pics.

Here is a picture. It looks like it fits good, but you can see the overlapping and it just doesnt stay in place once you pick up the purse. Maybe Im expecting too much of purse inserts?

Thanks for sharing your experience with this purse insert. I was considering getting for my boogie (not delivered yet), Miss Print, and Street Walker. I think instead I will try the hard sided chameleon. I have a soft sided medium chameleon, but there is not enough support in the sides, and it collapses everytime I put my wallet in.

Yeah, I think a harder side insert would be better for more support in the bag. If you put anything in the pockets and pick the purse up, the insert sort of falls inward and you have to straighten it back up.

Oh, I went back to the eBay auction and there is supposed to be black....for some reason I didnt see that (thought it was the blackground of the picture, not on the actual liner!) Oops!

I will have to look into the Chameleon as well. Thanks!
