Default Do you keep your first handbag for sentimental reasons?

I have purchased a few more bags (8) since my venture into designer handbags, and no longer use the first bag I ever bought. It's a little on the small side, and I'm not a big fan of the logo look anymore. Do any of you keep your first handbag purchase for sentimental reasons, or would you sell it anyways and use it towards a future purchase that you'll be more likely to use?

Yes. My first designer bag, an orange Celine boogie, is awkward to carry as it's a handheld bag, but I will likely always have it. Also, the color is beautiful.

My first "expensive" bag (a $140 D&B) is hanging on my door...I haven't used it in a long time, but my boyfriend bought it for me and it means SO much to me. I would never dream of selling it.

I don't know about my first bag, but I keep an ancient Coach bag I once thought was the most extravagant purchase ever but I bought anyway because I simply had to have it. I no longer have my first Chanel or LV, but I have Ms. Coach.

Yes, my very first designer bag, a gucci I got in the 80's, still sits in my closet in its duster.

No. My first expensive (to me) bag was a Dooney Alto that cost around $300. I don't use it anymore. I would sell it but I don't do eBay and don't think it would fetch that much $. But I won't throw out or donate (yet).

No- it is long gone to bag heaven. However, I still have the first Coach bag DH ever bought me when we were first married 8 years ago. I definitely keep it for sentimental reasons because it is too small for my needs now but I just can't part with it.

My first really expensive bag was a Plaid Ralph Lauren that I had to have in a speedy shape. I still have it and I love it. I don't carry it but I will never sell it. After that they all got really expensive and just keeps going.

My first was a little purple Coach bag. It was very cute, but I didn't use it too much because it was just so small. I gave it away this year to a good friend who likes small bags.

Yes... but I really do need to sell it! My first "designer" bag was a D&B white It bag...lol...I havent used it in probably 3 years. When I first got into handbags the It line had just hit and I was about 16. They were totally all the rage and I wanted one SO bad! At the time I was so rattled by the price- $140. My dad snuck behind my back and got it for my birthday. I have only kept it for scentimental reasons.
