I almost always carrying designer bags. I spent so much money buying them so might as well use them right?
I also find designer bags as a whole being of better quality.
The bags I usually carry are LV, Prada, Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs. Also own one Gucci messenger bag.

Like a lot of smart ladies here I buy what I like. So yes to Balenciaga, Burberrry, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana etc, but yippee also to the High Street stores that happen to have something I fancy for an inexpensive treat. When it comes right down to it, the lines between designer and non-designer quality have become increasingly blurred.

Just curious!

Premier being Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton etc Contemporary being Juicy...like how it's divided under the forum headings.

Thanks for your answers! It's interesting to see that most ladies start carrying designer bags from 21+

What about the people who are over 30 but under 40+? Do we not count?

I prefer my designer bags most of the time because I feel a lot of the time, the quality is better. But, I will buy non-designer bags if they are fashionable and well made.

I carry all!! maybe cause im still young adults~
Well I just basically buy whatever I like *with a budget of course*
So it doesnt matter to me if its premium, contemporary or none at all.

All of my everyday bags are designer, but I do have a few vintage clutches that are not designer.

Thank you for adding the 30 - 40 option!! Really appreciate whoever was kind enough to edit on my behalf.

When you were 20 and under, could you ever afford to buy your own designer bag using your own money?

only once you live
^ Yes. But I also had no other expenses so all my extra spending money could go towards a large ticket purchase.

Just add another zero! Not much difference otherwise.
