Default Challenge: Perfect black leather shoulder bag, $250 or less?

I'm on the hunt for a perfect black shoulder bag. Things I want...

-Real leather, 'natural' (no patent)- nice and buttery preferred.
-Silver/Nickle hardware
-Medium in size
-$250 or under

Here are photos of bags I like that I cannot afford (except for the first one, which I own), just to give you an idea of the kind of style I like.

I have no problem purchasing something from eBay, but I would prefer NWT. Any help is VERY appreciated!

Thanks, ladies!

BreeBag....I'm surprised that Tano hasn't been mentioned in the first post! Check out the Tano Sub-Forums. The crunch leather in particular is wonderful and you can get a whole slew of great black leather bags made by Tano for under $250 with quality that is much more than the price point while you can......

Here's a great website that we love: www.musthavebag.com

I did a quick search on eBay and, after filtering out a lot of unrelated items, found there are still a ton available. Surely you could find something in this list. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone! I love that Olivia Harris (though it might be a tiny bit too big), the B. Makowsky and several of the Tano bags look promising- but I can't find photos of what the bags look like in different colors (what color hardware?). I emailed Tano about a few, though, so hopefully I can get some answers. I'll also check out the subforum.

Thanks for the eBay list, too- I'll go through it now! :)

I just ordered a Bliss Lau bag from Luna Boston for $120 on sale w/ a code. It was the smaller size, but they do have a medium that is under your price range. If you like this, "grechen" works for 20% off too.

Hi, i have been eying that Bliss Lau white bag for a while, it looks like it's very versatile. can you tell me how the leather felt? Is it really soft and smooth? I am a bit picky on the leather. Do you like how you can change the handles into different styles?
Thanks!

That bag is perfect! I would get that bag in black if I were you, BreeBag!!!
I love the way the handles attach to the bag and the hardware is simple and beautiful, and that price! WOW!!!!
I actually like it in all three colors offered! It looks fantastic, please post about it when you get it.

How did you get it for $120?
It says $225 right now and even with the 20% discount, it is not THAT low. Was it even further reduced before?

I also love that OLIVIA HARRIS bag on eBay! If I didn't have too many black bags already, I would jump on that for sure, one or the BLISS LAU from LB!
Gorgeous bags!!!

Good luck!

Yeah, it is really cute! I did the mini, but w/ the dimensions, it is still a decent size. 11w x 9h w/ depth of 8 inches. So, it should be able to hold the daily essentials, but won't be overly large or hard to find things b/c of the shape.

I will post once received! Very good CS from LB as well- they called to ask a question about the address and confirm some additional info. I am impressed.
