We all love black bags(or for some, we hate them). I used to love colours & would never consider a black bag. This year I got my first black bag ever(YES what was I thinking???) & then a second(coz black suddenly became desirable) & now I have 4 black bags & still want more. They are all black & design(or brands or hardware) might differ but since it goes with everything, does that mean we need only 1 black bag? Or since black goes with everything, does it mean we stop carrying colours(or all the other bags we have)? How many black bags do you need? How many is too many?

I have a Black Haze Darling & a Black Studded(gunmetal) Devote. 2 others are non RMs(balenciaga & miu miu).

I think it's totally great to love black bags and to have multiples, as long as they are different styles and shapes. For ex. I think black hobos and black satchels are completely different bags.

i dont think you can ever have too many black bags as long as they are different (style, details, enhancements) i looooove my black bags and am always searching fo more!!

I went FOREVER without a black bag because I just couldn't find one I LOVED!

NOW I have 5..

1. Black Roadie - My only Blingy Bag
2. Black Mattie w/Blue Suede Flaps - Satchel
3. BBW MAM - Satchel
4. Pepper Nikki - Hobo
5. Black smooshy MAC - Clutch

I have a couple. I tend to carry way more browns that blacks because they usually match what I am wearing best, and there are so many variations of brown. But on occasion I carry black.

Yup, I

black bags. They are all by different designers though. Like Hisgeekygrrrl I also have lots of brown bags. When I was younger I'd carry red, purple, even yellow before I'd carry black. Now I'm trying to keep my wardrobe more neutral. I'm still searching for the perfect grey bag though.

I think you can never have too many black bags, as long as they are all different (or slightly different) you can't have too many!

I didn't have a black bag until my Black BBW MAB. I'm still looking for black bags but always get sidetracked by the colored ones.

I think a black bag in each style isn't too much - after all they have different looks. Plus the details in each like hardware, studs, tassels etc change its look.

I love black bags and would love to have more~ I had 3 (including a non-RM clutch), but just sold my black MAM w/ blue zipper track to help pay for my SO BBW MAM coming soon!

So when that arrives I will have:
Noir Nikki w/ Old School Silver HW
BBW MAM w/ Gunmetal HW

I could definitely justify having several more black bags because they go with everything, and style varies so much between casual, blingy, daytime/work bags, evening bags, etc....

True! As long as you use them, I think you can have multiples, especially if it is in different styles. I currently have a Black Ostrich MAC, Black Haze Zip MAB, Noir Nikki, Black Haze Mini Beloved, Black Patent Market Tote, Black Haze 3 Zip Rocker, and 2 black LAMB bags. Really I didn't have that many until Black Haze came along. It's killing me but I love it!!! I may have to let one go though when the BBW MAB with silver hw SO comes in. I think that one will get all the attention.

Black Bags you say?? Too Many??? IMPOSSIBLE.
Right now I have 4 black Chanels & 2 black RM's...and I'm thinking of 2 more black RM's. THEY are all different-ish, as in I definitely don't need all of them but I

them so.

Wow, what a coincidence that this thread was created whilst I add to my current Black Bag inventory...(I have 2 black leather Coach bags, and 1 RM BBW MAM). Today I received my RM Noir MAM

and I have a Balenciaga Black Bag coming to me in less than 10 days. I too, was contemplating...do I have too many black bags

?! And they're ALL SATCHELS too

!

vivi, Which Balenciaga black bag are you getting? Which year & season? I am just like you, but my love is in hobos. I have a Miu Miu lambskin coffer, 1 Bal GH Day, 1 Devote, 1 Darling & am contemplating a Nikki.

But after all that's been said by lovely ladies here & esp BH, Fashion1 & sheanabelle, I am beginning to feel a little more sane about wanting lots of black bags.
