I only have one and it's the best thing ever to be able to grab a bag and not worry about it going or not going with what I'm wearing. I agree with the people that say that it's only too many if you don't use them; if you can rotate through one hundred black bags then you don't have too many! (You're also my idol!

)

As for me, I see more black bags in my future...

There are never too many black bags. Heck, there are never too many bags period!! I love all handbags!

Black bags never betray me. (Or even brown bags.) They always manage to work with my outfits. I even carry in summer. Sometimes I get tempted by color bags because some of them look so beautiful. But I often end up not using them. Hey, I'm living in NYC. We love black.

= 4½ ... Definitely not too many, more like not enough!

You have too many if you aren't using them. Otherwise, bring on the black bags baby!!!

I have 6:

3 are working week/day bags: Anya Hindmarch Carker, Bally shoulder hobo, and La Marthe Audrey tote.

2 are evening: black YSL satin Muse clutch and satin YSL cigarette case

1 is travel/carry on: Bally o'night bag.

My feeling is you can never have too many black bags. I occasionally go for brown, but always feel more comfortable with a black bag. And one with a shoulder strap!

I don't think you can have too many black bags. They are always in fashion. However, I just added a black bag after not having one for years. My only black bag is a Linea Pelle Dylan Zip Tote. All my other bags are brown. I really need to add some color!!
