I use to only own black and brown bags before I found RM. Then I found RM and sold all black and all brown for colorful bags. However the black/gunmetal combo has sucked me back in pretty bad and now i want every bag in the black/gunmetal hw. I haven't looked at many colored bags this season because nothing else has really intrigued me.

I don't think one can have too many black bags if 1) you can afford em, 2) you use em

actually i'm not a fan of black bags or really any "normal" colored backs like brown or gray, i have one black black it's a small coach soho shoulder bag and i rarely ever use it. I like my bags to be bright, colorful and fun.

I also tend to go for color more than neutrals...at the moment I don't own a single brown bag, for example, and didn't own any black bags for quite a while until I went on a recent spate and bought a Rebecca Minkoff Black Haze Mini Beloved, an RM Black Haze 3 Zip Rocker, and a Belen Echandia Black Crash Love Me Midi. I also have two special orders awaiting me shortly: a BE black pebbled glossy Take Me Everywhere Midi, and an RM Black Stonewash Mini Beloved. I have a feeling that I will be selling one of my black bags at that point, however, because of some overlap.

Two other bags on my wishlist are a black Mulberry Bayswater and a MbMJ Sasha Petal to the Metal in (you guessed it!): black.

I don't think that you can have too many black bags if you use them all, and can legitimately afford them. For me, what makes each of these bags different are the details and the basic shape. Designers are amazingly creative with black this season is particular. Alternatively, for me there's nothing more boring than an unadorned black bag in mediocre leather, however. It's not like black clothing fabric, which lets you cheat a bit since most clothes, no matter how poorly constructed, tend to look at least a little more luxe in black. Nope...black pleather is anything but forgiving.

I just sold my Balenciaga 07 GGH Day today thinking I have so much black bags already & at the same time not too crazy about the style, I prefer the Citys & PTs. But I still have 6 Black asstd bags & 1 Bal Wallet. I'm always drawn to black even in shoes just because they match w/ everything, but I also very much in love with the Balenciaga colored bags. They're too much FUN to wear.

I think I have enough black bags for now.

Not a single black bag in my collection...and I keep planning to get one and it never happens.

Anyway, I don't think you can ever have to many of a handbag unless you don't use them all. As soon as one gets put away for more than year, it's time to let go!

i have yet to find a black bag that i LOVE above all the rest, but i'm searching! i have all browns & creams in my bag collection. i tend to gravitate towards these but am in need of the perfect black bag!

i will say, though - there can never be too many of ANY bag

Too many is more than I have room or money for.

That being said, over half my collection is black, 20% is brown, and 20% is red. The rest is mostly navy or cream. The fun of black or any neutral is in the design. Sometimes, the hardware is very unique, or the shape, or... something about the bag is special.

I've been craving colours this season though. I just want something different that makes me smile

I have at least 5 black bags. To be honest I am getting a little bored with my black bags and I am trying to find other neutrals. I found a great BCBG tan bag today and I am looking for a nice grey bag.

I have 3 black bags: prada denim, fendi spy, & di camerino pony hair. I have 3 black evening bags...I think. I wear waaaay more brown than black. I agree with the others, you can't have too many if you use them. I'm on the hunt for another black bag as we speak.
