Ahh, okay. Yes, I agree with ahertz, go for the City/Day. All those bags are beautiful in their own right, but for your age the Bals you chose will work better for ya.
Best of luck. |

I'm no help either cuz I like both and will get both!!! But I would choose the BV first then the Bal City. Have the City and it is a very practical bag. But I bought the City first and now venturing into BV.

If you're 19 then definitely the Balenciaga.

Definitely the Medium Veneta - a classic choice that can take you from day to evening. What color are you thinking of or did I miss that?

Both are beautiful bags. But I think Bal will be perfect for you. BV looks a little too mature?

either, i have both and got my veneta when i was 20 (but would have done earlier if i'd had the money, i was 17 or 18 when i first fell for it), but i'd recommed the large veneta over the medium, it's a younger look and since it's slouchy it doesn't feel big at all.

Both are gourgoes, and different. But my vote will go for the Balenciaga. The Bottega looks more classy and sophistacated. The Bal is more "hip"...
BTW what colors are you planning on getting? |

I love BV bags, but I've been disappointed with the durability of the leather. I have 3 -- 2 deerskin hobos and an old ball bag -- and all of them show wear at the corners. I am not hard on my bags; the leather is just that soft & vulnerable. Granted, the veneta doesn't have sharp corners like mine do, but now I'm wary about how much abuse BVs can take. If this is a bag that you're going to use everyday for everything, I vote Bal.
