Do you think a clutch like the Ritz Fizz is too over the top for an evening at the symphony or theater? I'd like to hear your opinions.

No I think it would be perfect. I notice that these 'star' little bags are becoming ever more popular at such places. It would also be great for weddings and more dressed-up parties .

Default Was this a Leiber?...
The gorgeous white/cream clutch that Carrie uses in the last 2 episodes of SATC series 6? She says that it's a vintage Dior but I've read that it was actually a Leiber. I know that I've spent ages trying to find one and have come close but not close enough.

I know, I know - this question has probably been answered on this Forum 6 zillion times since the series was originally aired. I always was slow to catch on and only discovered the joys of SATC last year when the movie came out - since then I've watched my box set of the complete series twice all the way through and have just started watching it for the third time (my partner wants me certifying!!)

Is the bag you're speaking of in your Avatar?

I like her bags, and they seem like art to me. Just some of them, I'm like where would I ever where it too? It's like some of them stand out too much for an evening out, but are too classy for just causal. Also, when I look at the measurements they're so small. What could you fit in one? A credit card? lol

I am a fan of judith leiber also. I haven't carried it yet but I have a wallet that is about a small clutch size. It's light canvas trimmed with snake skin and has a kisslock with crystals. The interior is a pink bubble gum leather. It's still sitting in my closet. I like to look at it. Crazy huh? I am too afraid I will stain it somehow. I'm the person that wears white and stains it right away. I also have on of the gold vintage belts. I like to collect what I can. By the way nice to be here. I just found this forum.

Oops! Pardon me. I just realized that I didn't capitalize Judith Leiber. What was I thinking.

I was at Neiman Marcus and the SA showed me the cat handbag that was featured in Elle for next month..or was it Vogue(help me out lorihmatthews!), and I asked her, if the crystals come off, what happens? The SA said Neiman Marcus would reapply the crystals for free..for a lifetime!!! I don't know if that deal is only applicable to the San Francisco Neiman's or others ones, but that sounds like an amazing deal!

Judith Leiber's creations are arts. I wish I could own one of them one day.

I bought a Judith leiber - satin and crystals - beautiful - vintage - with all the documentation and parts off of ebay. Looking to buy a full crystal one. The polar bear is spectacular - saw one at Saks on 5th avenue.
