Early this year I gave up on Rebecca Minkoff. Actually it was probably late last year I just sold off all the bags early this year. I'll never be back.

Coach....I see them everywhere and the styles lately aren't my thing anymore. My boyfriend calls them the "young girl" bag too. I'm 21 and I went to visit my high school and all the freshman girls had Coach bags. I have a black signature stripe satchel that I love but I'd rather buy a kate spade or michael kors or Tory Burch now. I just bought a bunch of kate spade things and decided its my new brand I love. I'd rather save up and get a classy LV or Gucci. Coach just isn't my style anymore.

LV for me. I can't even remember what I liked about those non-leather (and therefore crazy expensive) monogram bags.... I'm disliking the Speedy especially since it has a really awkward shape and everyone seems to carry it these days (both fake and real).

Here in Europe we don't really carry Coach bags. I do visit Italy quite often and I'm also disliking the Gucci logo bags many Italian women wear over there.

tbh what lured me to this forum in the first place was LV and now I just don't see myself reaching for monogrammed bags anymore.

instead, its the gorgeous full leather bags that call my name - balenciaga, prada.

Gerard Darel for me. I still love my 24h to pieces but seeing it everywhere on the streets drives me crazy and I don't like the fact that all the bags have gone up in price! I still wear my 24h with a lot of pleasure when I'm in London though as it feels more exclusive but I intend to sell my Midday Midnight soon. I don't think I'll buy an other GD bag except maybe a python one someday...

You can change your username -- just contact Vlad or Megs and explain to them why.

I know several people have done this once they fall out of love with a particular brand/designer.

Sometimes I come back to them when a collection comes back that I love (as in the case of RM -- I loved her older bags, decided that I disliked everything about the brand for a few seasons, and now am back loving several styles), but other times I just don't return at all, and end up selling most of my items from that particular brand or designer.

Lately I have been falling a bit out of love with Belen Echandia. I spent more than a year obsessed with BE bags (and they are wonderful, very well made and with the best CS out there, IMO), but lately nothing is exciting me about their current offerings. The price hike, a few issues with wear on the bags, and the fact that I have come back to RM after their CS and QC improved are probably to blame.

Another brand that has fallen off of my radar is Ignes. Again, they are well-made, very reasonably priced bags with excellent CS. But somehow the styles never quite meshed with my personal aesthetics -- I think that they are too classic for me.
I've never had an Ignes bag and I've heard so many great things about them, but the styles, well, they never said 'BUY ME!' And don't get me started on BE. I love how wonderful the leather smells, but that's about it. I've had several styles, key work 'had' and none have worked for me. They're super heavy and have way too many drawstrings, straps etc. to please me. The resale of them is in the toilet right now too.

For me it is probably RM. I'll love what I have and intend to keep them but won't be adding anything new. CS, lack of communication, quality issues have really turned me off-I was a part of a special order that had a mistake and even though we were given a 10% discount, that was the last straw.

Chanel. I can't believe that I paid so much for a bag that, when damaged, Chanel couldn't fix. I'm loving my Longchamp bags now! Mulberry is always a favorite, too. I guess I'm a recessionista.

I'm with you with this one. I have always been a leather bag girl (with maybe a couple of nylon Prada backpacks in my 20's) and decided to try out LV & Coach because a couple of people in my social circle raved about them. I tried a few pieces but decided that leather is more me. Although I still admire some of their styles I don't think I want to pay full price for one again.

I have heard that the more vintage hangbags are much better in quality because they were made in one location whereas now most of the bags are semi-assembled in one country and finished in another. You can't really trust the Made in xxx label anymore.

It's funny how we all have different opinions on certain brands. For me, most of the BE bags I have (TME Midi, LM Midi, Stroke Me Medium, Surprise Me) are light, versatile, and very easy to use. To me, they are more stylish and practical than other brands that cost a lot more. My TMA is a bit heavier than my other BE bags, but it is not very heavy considering the size. I know I'll never get tired of BE bags.

I tried Coach, LP, and RM before realizing that BE was the brand for me. I have no interest in purchasing additional Coach and LP bags. I sold the 3 LP bags that I bought, but I still have 2 Coach bags that just sit in the closet and 1 Coach tote that I use once in a while for work. I still have one RM bag and I might give that brand another chance in the future. However, part of me says that I should not even bother with RM because I'll probably keep reaching for BE bags instead.

I think we tend to fall out of love when we have too much of anything. I usually buy Prada and I have not seen a Prada bag I want to buy for sometime now. I have most of their classic styles and the new bags just dont apeal to me. In fact I bough a Coach Sabrina recenty and I love the bag:) I think its the change in style Im loving really...

For me I was a BE ( Belen Enchandia) lover...but no more. I sold some but kept quite a few KEY pieces that I still truly enjoy..especially my Stroke Me's. I decided one day just to branch out and find out about more brands and I found that every brand has something I love about them.

I fell in love again with Botkier, Linea Pelle and am drooling over the ALexander Wang COCO bag.
