^Yeah, I think alot of us are starting to feel duped by them. I'm jealous that my friend has a Coach labeled made in the USA when mine is made in China! Are there no U.S. manufacturing jobs anymore? Jeez!

I truly have a love/hate relationship with Coach. I go through phases when I think I will never buy again, then I see a style I like and I fall right back in love. I feel sentimental toward this brand because it was my first designer bag that I saved and bought with my own money back in the 80's, and the first time I visited NYC a couple of years later I visited the flagship store. Back then of course the line was so well made (IMO), and US made. I still have a few "nostalgia" pieces that I've handed down to my much younger cousins and they're like "Wow....I never knew Coach made bags like this."
There's alot I do like: the colors are much more fun, and the styles are much less dated. I have resigned myself a few years ago to always buy the leather bags only...sigh, I guess I'll always come back to Coach!

For me it's Coach too. I always like looking at the new stuff that comes out but I get over them quickly. I really hate that they put the horse and buggy plastic thing on every bag-it cheapens the look of the bag IMO. Just having the "coach" hangtag is good enough.

Yes , Coach isn't doing it for me either. The quality, C.S., isn't there anymore

I also vote Coach. It used to be more affordable and more durable. It seems geared toward teenagers now and it's way overpriced. I also think the fact that I see 100 Coach bags a day (real and fake) has made its appeal less and it motivates me to save up for a better quality bag. I am currently saving for an LV, Bbag, and RMinkoff. No more Coach for me~

I love COACH but I havent been a fan of their new lines for awhile. I still love the bags I have because nothing beats their signature fabric in the snow or rain where I live. I just wont be buying anymore bags of theirs for awhile.

My coach love is fading too. I haven't been able to find anything I like in so long. And to me the bags feel...different. Not the coach I'm used to. Maybe the quality will get better and I will find something I like in the upcoming year. Not holding my breath though.

LV bags, especially Speedy. There are few models I like, but somehow, there are so many fakes around and if I carry a genuine one,I'd still feel uncomfortable knowing that people think that I'm having a fake too.

I'm pretty much off bags in general these days. I still look around, but there comes a time when you have so many, nothing new looks as good as something I already have at home.

^^^ Funny you say that, It's the same with me. I have so many now and joining TPF has now helped me see that I truly don't need/want bags as much as I did, before I joined 5months ago. I actually don't buy bags much since I joined and I find that a bit strange.

It's been Coach for me for about 4 years. I used to own Coach everything. Then they had their massive price hike and I no longer saw the value in the brand. The only bags I like from them now, retail for $1K+, for Coach?!? The problem is the quality didn't go up (if anything, it went down) but the prices rose sky high. And now that their outlets are more like cheap stores, because they mass produce things at much lower quality to sell there, I don't have the same love that I used to have for the brand.

RM. I have a few of their older styles that I still really like, but I wouldn't buy anything from the new lines. Too many quality problems and the styles aren't catching my eye anymore.

Agreed. I love some of my "older" (what's it been 3-4 years or something?) RM bags but geezlouise...the spring line for 2010 especially--wtf? Bright red leopard print with blue trim????!! And the huge croc (totally fake looking, imho) prints this fall?? Yikes! Not for me so much.

Kind of out of love with all designers and bags right now. Mentioned before that I'm thinking of carrying everything around in an uncool plastic sack.
