CONTROLLATO means CHECKED in italian, so it is probably something used in the fabric as last check of the bag??

I THOUGHT that it helps with authenticity, like there's suppoes to be a little slash on one of the numbers that tells u it's authentic. i bought this one fake one and the slash was humongous, u can totally tell someone messed with it.

I think they just put the Controlato card and that's it, if they really really checked they should put something more specific, like date/time/place where they controlled them.

All the cards are the same, that is why I say so.

From a business standpoint, it would take more time and money to fashion a card with date/time/place for each item. If everything is coming out of an official Gucci factory/shop then there is no fear of counterfeit products...therefore no need to record date/time/place. Yes, there are companies that do so (MB and other automotive companies for example) but Gucci seemingly chooses not to. I assume, based on the Italian translation, that this card serves as a generic certificate of authenticity and/or quality check. Just my thoughts on the matter.

It is not about the counterfeit, it is about the quality control we are talking about.
After you see your new gucci boston with red and green hearts with glue stain , directly from Gucci.com, you realize that sometimes they just put this card inside.
