Default Unreal experience with Gucci.com
I've been trying to order the black leather Sukey since last week. Everytime I submit my order, I get an error message saying they can't process my order and to resubmit the information.

I did this several times using different credit cards and it won't accept ANY of them.

So I called Gucci online and they tried a couple of times. Same result. Then the person I spoke with became indignant about the situation saying if my bank declines there's nothing they can do about it. I tried to explain to her that my banks didn't decline the charge. Twice, I called AMEX and my other card issuers and all said they never declined an order. Mind you, I have thousands available on all 3 cards.

What gives? I guess I can't ever shop Gucci.com anymore. It's like I'm blacklisted and I've only purchased 1 bag on the site - which was last winter.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I guess I'm going to go buy a different designer bag with my little bonus cash.

That sounds awful - how frustrating

Don't forget that these people who work for the site are just stupid people - it's such a shame they represent the brand so terribly.

I had this happen to me in the boutique before. Come to find out I had a daily limit on the card I was trying to use. I ended up having to split the transaction on two cards to make my purchase. I'm not sure if maybe that's whats happening to you. Good luck getting your bag.

No, I don't have a daily limit on any of my cards. As much as I want this bag, I think I'm going to abandon it and get the LV I've always wanted.

You'd think they'd WANT the sale, but it doesn't seem that way. I hate that the bag is a web exclusive too.

Awwww, sorry about your experience online. I've ordered online from them a few times before and had no problems. Hopefully it'll work out. Can't say your one problem will always be like that with other transactions online. Good Luck!

My boyfriend just had the same problem with a web exclusive. He bought me a messenger bag and he had to get on the 800 number as they kept declining his card, and they were actually pretty rude. He had to escalate to a manager. He was livid.

We usuallkyl always go to the boutique since my SA gives us champagne...haha I don't know if he'll ever shop online again.

OMG! Really? Did the manager get it resolved? I totally should have escalated it rather than continue calling as frequently as I did. AMEX mentioned that maybe they had server issues. If they did, it would have been nice to know.

I'd rather go to the boutique because I like to chat with the SAs and browse a bit even when I know exactly what I want.

Hope your transaction went through! What new bag will you be sporting?

He had to try three different credit cards, and the SA over the phone was pretty rude stating, it must be his limit, just like they did to you. ya finally the manager magically was able to run it through with no problems. Geeesh, I tell you, incompetence is ridiculous.

He would have bought in store, since my SA is wonderful -but it was the online exclusive brown canvas monogram messenger bag with the leather double GG's. I needed a new computer bag for work. :-)
