Calling all tpfers...which Gucci bag is the best one for everyday use? What styles do you prefer for work, play, and fun during the day?

Wish I could help you....still waiting to get my first gucci, but I can tell you from reading this forum the abbey tote may be a good choice for everyday use, esp. for school / work. Horsebit hobos or any of the gucci hobos are hot! I know some of the ladies will give an opinion soon...

Hi Bri 333! This is a bit tough to answer as there are so many styles. If you are trying to decide on one for yourself, it might help if you gave us some guidelines (i.e. must have a zipper; should have straps long enough to be worn on the shoulder, etc.). I love the horsebit hobo, and the Abbey and Pelham bags are nice, too. The Joy line is also good and less expensive (I would love a large Joy Boston bag myself; just waiting for the right color combination for me).

for work the diapers bags are pretty versatile. i use mine for both the diapers and it fits my old 15" laptop perfectly so it doesn't move much or anything. as for everyday bags i guess it all depends what you're looking for if you like having it over your shoulders or just on your arm etc.

^^ I would giove the same adice - the abbey range is classic but more importantly has thick handles that can take the strain of being lugged around everyday!!

For work -(I use my eclipse tote but they are discontinued) I would say any of the double strapped abbey totes or Pelhams
For play at night, I grab either my gucci horsebit clutch or gunmetal cosmetic pouch.(left in picture)
For shopping or running around on the weekends - I use my messenger or my belt bags.

Erm for me i am that kind of person who is lazy so i don't change my bags around although i would love to own many.. Haha i usually choose bag that are similiar like the large brit tote bag and the princy medium tote.. They look simple formal and easy to match with clothes. Or i will choose the hobo which has unique design and good for outings too but mainly i will go around with large bags.. cos easier to put and dump my things insde.. hehe

Is it true that Gucci leather fades with time especially on the corners? I wanted to get leather instead of fabric, but reading that somewhere on the forum made me afraid to get it. I really like the horsebit hobos and pelhams in leather. What do you guys think of these styles in leather?

I also a vintage tote that I carry almost everyday. I like it because it's big enough to fit all my stuff in.

everyday bag..u probadly want basic style...someething light and easy to carry...and maybe zipper for closure so ur things dont fall out?
