As I had told myself no more new bags for a while, I couldn't resist these two Hysteria's, the python satchel and the tortoise patent clutch (large)--I really thought the small satchel would be too small for me, but it's the perfect size and holds much more than I originally thought, and being on sale didn't hurt either.....

I think the tortoise-shell print worked best in the clutch.

Python is a lovely colour - is it lined in suede? I was surprised that a Gucci Hysteria that I saw form last Summer was not lined in suede just the usual nylon logo.

I agree with you 'small' does not necessarily mean small at Gucci.

Beautiful! I saw some sort of snakeskin bag at the Vacaville outlet, but sadly it was out of my price range. Enjoy them!

Thanks everyone!! - Papertiger, no, the python is not suede lined, just fabric, but I've been carrying it the last 2 days and it holds it's shape beautifully, is lightweight and the perfect size - I originally thought I wouldn't like the fact that there was no way to carry it on the shoulder, but it works so well on the arm or handheld, it's so lightweight that is is very easy to carry. Now I'm thinking I might just need another Hysteria satchel in another color.

Got them on the second markdown at Saks, I just happened to be in the store when the SA was first starting pre-sales.
