Need opinions on first purchase

Hi everyone!
Just wanted some help please. Wanted to buy a Gucci bag and matching shoes. What do you all suggest. This will be my first purchase and I was hoping to wear them for my sons baptism in March. I wear alot of black. Thanks!!!!!

I love the large chain hobo.It is a classic bag , or you can get the medium, if you wear alot of black you could get any of the colors check Gucci.com for all of the colors its under the classics if that doesnt work for you maybe a new spring clutch I love love love them if you want more of a fun peice.
