tell me, did i make the right choice?! Or should i hv chose this instead?

Definitely the hobo is a GREAT choice. The leather will last for years and you've got a great classic bag. The tote's cute, but I think it'll get thrashed even if you're careful and it'll get dated after awhile since Gucci always "revamps" their totes.
