Just one dot between GG's?

I bought a couple of so-called vintage Gucci's from eBay, both these have only one dot between the GG's. Later I noticed that pretty much everything else I've seen has TWO dots between the GG's. Both bags have the green and red stripe.

Another concern is that the lining appears to be a soft type of leather, but I noticed a bleach spot, and it is actually a type of cloth.

I don't have a way to post a pic, but by the description did Gucci ever make this?
