You know, even after 4 years, I so regret not purchasing the darned Bardot with the piston lock closure in the beige/ebony GG fabric with the turquoise leather trim and handles. I had second thoughts on the bag because it had the rose colored hardware and I wasn't able to locate a pair of matching shoes for the bag. Sighhhh... I just should have purchased the bag anyways

Well, we can both purchase this new bag, lol! I always liked the Bardot too; guess that's why I'm drawn to this one...

I agree, this bag is definitely on my Wish List for this year... I've bumped this bag on the list ahead of the grenade LV Alma. Since it's part of Gucci's Fall collection, do you think that there's a chance that it might go on sale in December? I'd just hate to pay full price for it and then see it on sale a few months later.

so i'm currently a smidge bit obsessed with this bag...i had gone to Saks nyc and dragged my SO for a walkaround the first floor. they're doing construction so they had all the gucci stuff on shelves right by the walkway. as my SO hurried me along as i passed the gucci shelves, i spotted this bag and copped a feel hehe...is the leather very dry and stiff? or was i just imagining it? anyway, the price seems really good for such a gorgeous guccisima leather bag - aren't the guccisima leather bags usually much pricier? do you guys know if it comes in any other colors?

^This is the only color (in the guccissima version) that I've seen so far, but I bet there will be others
